How much protein do I need to build muscle This video applies to EVERY HUMAN BEING, irrespective of your fitness level, gender or regime. I'm going to cover 3 cases :- 1)How much protein you need to build muscle and a SKINNY FAT individual 2)How much protein you need if you are TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT 3)How much protein you need if you are trying to cut after bulk season. How much protein do i need to build muscle? Firstly, i wanna make it clear, that by MUSCLE, i mean LEAN MUSCLE MASS, which is crucial for LONG TERM health. Anyone who has lifted weights for at least 6 months has been in situations where they are lectured for their high protein diet. Very often the lecturers are people who themselves have little to no knowledge about fitness/diet/health. Its not the lecturers fault either. We live in a country where we’ve grown up hearing people say that high protein diets make you fat and high protein diets destroy your body. But what is the truth? The whole world except for the sub-continent follows a high protein diet. If high protein diets actually destroyed people’s bodies, the whole world except for India would be facing major health problems. But that’s not the case. In fact, it’s the Indians and sub-continental people in general who are some of the unhealthiest in the world. And that is primarily because of wrong health and fitness ideas like “High protein is DEATH, bro.” Today’s video isn’t just for the average gymmer looking to build muscle mass. We won't be just covering "daily protein grams" or "daily protein macros". We'll be covering basic protein requirements PER DAY for the average INDIAN. We're gonna talk about the daily protein requirement and needs to build LEAN MUSCLE MASS. Remember lean muscle mass = HEALTH. This video applies to you because YOU are HUMAN too. In fact for both men and women, they SHOULD be crucial parts of a daily diet. Moreover for India, Sunday ho ya Monday, roz khao ande should be a national slogan! We're some of the unhealthiest people in the world and a lot of that is thanks to the lack of protein in our diets. Eggs are easily the best food for bodybuilding AND fat loss. Yes, i said fat loss. Remember fat loss comes from a combination of high protein diets and exercise. The best food source when it comes to high protein diet is an EGG, WITH the EGG YOLK. The only thing i did different is I took the initiative. Nothing else. I made the decision. I got sick of being called that fat guy. I didn’t want a lack of health to define who I am. I wanted to take it as far from that as possible.Not once have I read those stupid fitness articles in your local newspaper – 5 fats ways to burn belly fat, 5 easy exercises you can do at home – if your overall fitness was based on five simple exercises everyone would be fit. My plea to you guys is quit looking for short cuts and go back to basics. Eat right, go join a gym, make sure you drag your ass to the gym even on days you don’t feel like. That is why champions are champions. They’re ready to put in the effort even when their minds are making a roadblock. But here’s the great thing about any kind of exercise, especially in a gym. If you do it consistently for long enough, it becomes a habit. Exercise shouldn’t be an activity, it should be a goddamn rush. BUT if you’re a girl, you should know this. The title says bicep workout for WOMEN as well. Your body is built almost the same as a man’s body. We’re all human and we have the same muscle anatomy. Working your biceps, as a woman is not going to give you chiseled, beefy arms. What it will give you is strong, toned arms. As I talk about in most of my “women’s weight training” videos, even 100 years of lifting won’t give you a manly body unless you inject yourself with hormones. So many girls are conscious about their arms. Bicep and tricep workouts obviously won’t burn off arm fat but they will definitely help in giving shape and definition to your arms. But above all, it will give your arms STRENGTH. Which is always a good thing. And for all the lifters reading this – As a trainer, the one thing that bothers me when I see other people working out is wrong form. There is no exercise in the world that is as WRONGLY done as basic bicep curls. I URGE all gymmers to watch this workout video, if no other. You might pick up a few points. Your complete guide on how to lose weight in Ramadan - The SCIENTIFIC approach. Finally releasing a video, ESPECIALLY for men and women in India & Pakistan. This is the FREE of cost Ramzan training & Diet program. This is the only fitness advice you'll need during this holy month. Ramzan mubarak! Written version : Now a super important thing to note is during ramadaan and IF, your total calories stay the same as they are throughout the year. Everyone has a maintencance calorie level. If you stay above it you’ll put on weight, and if you stay below it you’ll lose weight .So if you’re trying to lose weight and fat you need to be in a caloric deficit, you need to watch your calories. If you’re trying to put on weight you need to be in a caloric surplus in ramadan. Finally the training aspect of ramzaan. Its very basic – You keep it the same as it was with a decrease in training frequency. You also need to give your body time to recover. So I personally would suggest 3-4 days of lifting weights is a great option, if you think you’re capable of going up to 5 days, then do it. But never more than that. But now, a detailed timeline of the plan you have to follow. Follow this plan on the days you workout. On the days you don’t workout, just slightly reduce all the carbs from this plan. Also water intake. When you’ve broken your fast, have 2-5 glasses of water every hour So our starting point in this timeline is when you break your fast, jab aap Roza khologe Your go to option – Fruits or plain white rice. Now obviously you can’t workout on an empty stomach after fasting. You need carbs, just for that immediate energy. So go for any fruit you want. There are no restrictions. If you can, then keep changing up the fruit you have. But this works as a pre workout meal. When you’re breaking your fast, but you have a workout following that you want to avoid two things – Things super high in sugar and things super high in fat. So avoid fried items, dessert and even dates, which mind you aren’t as healthy as people think. Avoid it at this point. Stage 2 : Maghrib prayers or evening prayers. So immediately, after having your pre workout meal, you go for your prayers, immediately after which you will go to the gym. If you want, just before your workout, eat 1 banana. If you want, youc an also have a tea or cofffee at this point. Preferably without sugar, but we’re human so a little sugar is fine. Stage 3 : Finish your workout in under 1 hour, whatever happens. Post workout, You need to carry your protein shake to the gym . Have it with water, after your workout. This is also a great time to have dates or khajoor. Because immediately after a workout your body is capable of utilising sugar for energy. Stage 4 : Now this is where it gets a little flexible. Different mosques have different timings for Taraveeh prayers. So you need to adjust the timing of this meal according to your own prayers. If you can, then immediately come home and have white meat, not red. So you’ll have a big bowl of chicken, fish or eggs with a portion of whatever carb you want – rice, roti, bread, during ramzaan have some fun with your carbs. So either you eat and go to pray or pray and come back and eat. Stage 5 : Now this is where most people choose to sleep if they are getting up for Sehri. If you are gonna sleep early, then have a slow digesting protion – your options are red meat or red meat. If your goal is to put on weight, have carbs with this meal. Otherwise keep it carb free. And when you get up for Sehri, have some more of the same you had for dinner. A slow digesting protein that you had for dinner. Stage 5.5 : If you’re one of those people who doesn’t get up for Sehri, then have some white meat like chicken or fish or eggs, after Taraveeh. And before sleeping follow it up with red meat or paneer kababs. But more superficially, I’m trying to make India a country full of beach bodies. The first step towards a leaner body is quitting sugar and dessert. But what after that? Do you give up fried food? Do you give up fruit? Do you increase protein? The answer lies in selection of carbohydrates. So are carbs good or bad? There’s a deep science behind answering that question. I’ve made a video on that as well. But essentially, you need to know that simple carbs (High on the GI scale) are atrocious for you in terms of fat loss. You want a diet to lose weight fast?
