However, a falling-out over Cartman's planned film franchise splinters the boys into two groups. Those who side with Cartman join Coon and Friends, while rival group Freedom Pals, led by Mysterion, call for their own franchise, starting a civil war between the two groups. The player again controls The New Kid, though now has the option of choosing the gender of The New Kid. The plot revolves around Coon and Friends looking for a lost cat to gain the cash reward to further their franchise, and in the process stumble upon a plot to unite all the crime families in South Park. The team opted for a unique and more diverse game world than Oblivion's Imperial Province of Cyrodiil, which game director and executive producer Todd Howard considered less interesting by comparison. The game was released to critical acclaim, with reviewers particularly mentioning the character development and setting, and is considered to be one of the greatest video games of all time. Three downloadable content (DLC) add-ons were released—Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn—which were repackaged into The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Legendary Edition, which was released in June 2013. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Special Edition, a remastered version of the game, was released for Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in October 2016, which includes all three DLC expansions and a graphical upgrade, along with additional features such as modding capabilities on consoles. Versions for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation VR are planned for release in 2017. This full video review of Elder Scrolls V Skyrim on Nintendo Switch features long gameplay clips of docked mode with some handheld mode also show. I explain how to find the Zelda Breath of the Wild gear without needing Amiibo. Story, graphics, and port quality are all covered in this review and then it is given a rating. The Legend of Zelda Outfits and Weapons – Tap compatible The Legend of Zelda character amiibo to gain outfits and gear inspired by the series. Take down enemies with the Master Sword, protect yourself with the Hylian shield, or look heroic in the Champion’s Tunic. Tap other compatible amiibo to gain additional loot. Compatible amiibo include those from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild series, 30th Anniversary - The Legend of Zelda series, Super Smash Bros. series, and The Legend of Zelda series. Motion Controls: Use all-new motion controls for combat and lockpicking – battle with melee weapons, aim your bow and arrow, and more. In this video I show you how to do each of the motion control fuctions with the joy cons.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is an action-adventure first-person shooter video game developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is scheduled to release on 27 October 2017 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and in 2018 for Nintendo Switch. The game is the eighth main entry in the Wolfenstein series and the sequel to 2014's Wolfenstein: The New Order, set in alternate history 1961 America following the Nazi victory of the Second World War. The story follows war veteran William "B.J." Blazkowicz and his efforts to fight against the Nazi regime in the United States. The game is played from a first-person perspective and most of its levels are navigated on foot. The story is arranged in chapters, which players complete in order to progress. A morality choice in the prologue alters the game's entire storyline; some characters and small plot points are replaced throughout the timelines. The game features a variety of weapons, most of which can be dual wielded. A cover system is also present. Continuing from The New Order, the development team aimed to characterize Blazkowicz for players to adopt his personality.

Released in 2006, it is the twelfth title in the mainline Final Fantasy series. The game introduced several innovations to the series: an open world split into zones, a seamless battle system, a controllable camera, a customizable "gambit" system which lets the player control the artificial intelligence (AI) of characters in battle; and a "license" system that determines which abilities and equipment are used by characters. Final Fantasy XII also includes elements from previous games in the series, such as Chocobos and Moogles. The game takes place in the fictional land of Ivalice, where the empires of Archadia and Rozarria are waging an endless war. Dalmasca, a small kingdom, is caught between the warring nations. When Dalmasca is annexed by Archadia, its princess, Ashe, creates a resistance movement. During the struggle, she meets Vaan, a young adventurer who dreams of becoming a sky pirate in command of an airship. They are quickly joined by a band of allies; together, they rally against the tyranny of the Archadian Empire. Final Fantasy XII received critical acclaim, earning numerous "Game of the Year" awards in various categories from noted video game publications. Selling more than two million copies in Japan, it became the fourth best-selling PlayStation 2 game of 2006 worldwide. By November 2009, over 6 million copies of the game were sold worldwide. A sequel, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings, was released for the Nintendo DS in 2007. A high-definition remaster of the International Zodiac Job System version, subtitled The Zodiac Age, was released worldwide for the PlayStation 4 in July 2017.

"EDM Detection Mode" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Dreams is an upcoming sandbox video game developed by Media Molecule and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4, scheduled for release in 2019, with the public beta released in 2018. The game puts focuses on 'play, create and share', and allows players to create user-generated content. In Dreams, players control an "imp", which is used to interact with the game's world (like a mouse cursor), create new items and characters, and manipulate objects by grabbing and pulling them. Players move the imp by using the DualShock 4 or PlayStation Move controllers. The imp is customizable, and players can change the emotion of the imp by drawing on the controller's touchpad. The imp has the ability to possess characters featured in a dream, allowing players to take direct control of these characters. Dreams's levels are separated by different segments known as "dreams", and these dreams are connected by different gateways such as doors. Players encounter different puzzles in the game, which must be solved by using the abilities of the imp and the possessed characters, as well as the objects players retrieved in a dream. Items collected by players can be used to alter and modify the state of the game's world. Players can create their own levels in the game by using custom and pre-built objects. Players can then share their completed dreams online. Cooperative multiplayer is also featured in the game, allowing players to create and manipulate their custom dreams together. #DreamsPs4 #Dreams

The REAL Reason Final Fantasy 8 Isn't On PS4 or Switch! - Rant Video

11:22
The entire Final Fantasy series has been getting redone with remasters, remakes, and rereleases except for one big exception. Why exactly is Final Fantasy VIII not coming to the PS4 and Switch? The answer is complicated so let's dig into it! Like and subscribe if you enjoyed it! "EDM Detection Mode" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Last night, Nintendo announced that just about all of the main Final Fantasy games from the PlayStation and PS2 eras were coming to their Switch console—except one. Missing from the line-up, despite the presence of Final Fantasy VII, IX, X, X--2, and XII, was 1999's Final Fantasy VIII, a hilarious slight to a video game that even its rights holders know probably kind of deserves it. The internet, much like someone learning the ropes of FFVIII’s time-wasting battle system or absorbing its immensely dopey plot twists, was taken aback by the sheer gall on display. Exiled from the Final Fantasy family, newer generations may never understand the joys of having to use the “Draw” command on every new monster for hours on end or the raw charisma of characters like “energetic boy in jean shorts,” “energetic girl with improbable hair,” or “cowboy who always hits on women.” Instead, it’s sad to say, the venerable role-playing series will have to live on through the games its creators are more proud of, like the upcoming remaster, Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon: Everybuddy!

EA Cancels ANOTHER Star Wars Game?! STOP THEM! - Angry Rant

"EDM Detection Mode" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 #StarWars #VisceralGames #EAsucks Electronic Arts has canceled its open-world Star Wars game, according to three people familiar with goings-on at the company. The game, announced alongside the shutdown of Visceral Games back in 2017, had been in development at EA’s large office in Vancouver. EA Vancouver, a large studio that mostly handles support for a variety of the publisher’s games including FIFA and Battlefront, had been working on this open-world Star Wars game since October 2017, when EA closed Visceral Games. Until then, Visceral—best known for its popular Dead Space horror series—was developing its own Star Wars game. That project, code-named Ragtag, was a linear action-adventure game directed by Uncharted director Amy Hennig. EA Vancouver had been assisting on the project, and when EA closed Visceral Games on October 17, 2017, the Vancouver studio took it over. But it wouldn’t be accurate to say that EA Vancouver’s Star Wars was the same game as Ragtag. When EA Vancouver took over, it rebooted this Star Wars project entirely, keeping some of the art assets but transforming it into an open-world game. Now, that project is canceled, too. (EA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.) EA had not shown any of EA Vancouver’s open-world Star Wars game publicly, but the publisher talked about it when it announced Visceral’s demise. “It has become clear that to deliver an experience that players will want to come back to and enjoy for a long time to come, we needed to pivot the design,” the company said at the time. “A development team from across EA Worldwide Studios will take over development of this game, led by a team from EA Vancouver that has already been working on the project.”

Yakuza Kiwami Review! Great Weird Adventure? (PS4)

How far are you willing to go to protect your friends? That's the question at the heart of Yakuza Kiwami. Is this a remake worth buying again or should it have been left on the PS2? Yakuza (Japanese: 龍が如く Hepburn: Ryū ga Gotoku, "Like a Dragon") is an action-adventure game developed and published by Sega for the PlayStation 2. Yakuza was released in Japan in 2005, and outside Japan the following year. The story follows a yakuza named Kazuma Kiryu, who, after spending ten years in jail for a crime he did not commit, learns that 10 billion yen has been stolen from the Tojo clan, which the criminal underworld is searching for. He finds an orphaned girl Haruka who is being targeted by the clan, as she is believed to have the key for their lost money, and he resolves to protect her. The game takes place in Kamurocho, which is a realistic recreation of Tokyo's Kabukicho. Yakuza is an open world action-adventure game with role-playing elements: the player gains experience from combat, which can be used to level up Kazuma's stats and increase his fighting capabilities. In order to finance the game's expensive production, Sega contracted a tie-in campaign with famous Japanese companies. A remake of this game, Yakuza Kiwami, was released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in Japan in 2016, and is planned for release in the West for PlayStation 4 in 2017. I cover the gameplay, yakuza kiwami karaoke, yakuza kiwami majima system, and the arcade games with side quests. Critical reception to Yakuza has been positive. Although there was some criticism of its clunky mechanics, the game has been well received for its presentation and story. Yakuza was a commercial success, selling over 1,000,000 units, and spawned an entire franchise of games.

Monster Hunter World Review! BIGGER and BETTER? (PS4/Xbox One)

"EDM Detection Mode" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 Monster Hunter: World[a] is an action role-playing video game developed and published by Capcom. A part of the Monster Hunter franchise, the game was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One worldwide in January 2018. The Microsoft Windows version is scheduled for later in 2018. In Monster Hunter: World, the player takes the role of a Hunter, tasked to hunt down and either kill or trap monsters that roam in one of several environmental spaces. If successful, the player is rewarded through loot consisting of parts from the monster and other elements that are used to craft weapons and armor, among other equipment. The game's core loop has the player crafting appropriate gear to be able to hunt down more difficult monsters, which in turn provide parts that lead to even more powerful gear. Players may hunt alone, or can hunt in cooperative groups of up to four players via the game's online services. Monster Hunter: World received critical acclaim upon release, with critics praising how Capcom was able to make the game more accessible to new players and to Western markets, without detracting from the series' core gameplay elements and enjoyable difficulty, and fully taking advantage of the computational abilities of modern consoles to create living ecosystems. Monster Hunter: World is an action role-playing game set in an open world environment and played from a third-person perspective. Similar to previous games in the series, the player takes the role of a Hunter that travels to the "New World", an unpopulated land mass filled with monsters, to join the Research Commission that study the New World from their central command base of Astera. The Research Commission tasks the Hunter to hunt down and either kill or capture large monsters that roam outside Astera to both protect the Commission and to study the monsters there.[2] The player's character does not have any intrinsic attributes, but instead these are determined by what equipment the character is equipped with. This includes a weapon which comes from one of fourteen archetypes (such as long sword, bow, or hammer), which then further defines the types of combat moves and abilities the player can use, and pieces of armor, which can lead to beneficial or detrimental combat skills if matched properly. While some basic equipment can be purchased using in-game money, most equipment is built from loot obtained by slaying or trapping monsters, rewards from completing quests, or items gathered while in the field. This creates a core loop of gameplay that has the player fight monsters they can beat to obtain the right loot to craft improved weapons and armor to allow them to face more powerful monsters and the potential for even better equipment. Monster Hunter: World includes all fourteen weapon types from Monster Hunter 4 and Monster Hunter Generations. However, the Hunting Arts, Styles, and the Prowler Mode from Generations are not included in World's gameplay. The player is still able to mount and try to topple monsters, and in some scenarios, able to use their primary weapon for these toppling attacks. All hunters gain access to a tool called the Slinger, which can be used as a grappling hook to reach higher elevations or pull down rock formations, and also can be used as a slingshot to launch bullets that can damage or have debuffing effects on monsters or can be used to distract monsters to allow one to escape. The player can also use a Mantle, similar to ghillie suit to either stay hidden from sight of a monster, or to lure a monster into chasing the hunter into a trap or into an area occupied by another monster and having them fight each other. The hunter can use Scout flies to track down monsters; after finding enough signs of a monster's presence such as footprints or mucus piles, the Scout flies then help lead the Hunter directly to the monster. They can also be used to search for other resources, and can be trained to be more effective at their tracking skills.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Review! Different But Good? (PS4)

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is an action-adventure video game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It is scheduled for release in August 2017 for the PlayStation 4, as a standalone expansion to the Uncharted series. Players control Chloe Frazer, who seeks the Tusk of Ganesh in the mountains of India in the midst of a civil war, with the help of mercenary Nadine Ross. The game is played from a third-person perspective; players use firearms, and can use melee combat and stealth to defend against hostile enemies. Players solve puzzles, incorporating several platformer elements to advance the narrative, and navigate the game world on-foot or by vehicle. Development of The Lost Legacy began soon after the release of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End in May 2016. Chloe became the central focus of the game, with the story, design and gameplay elements reflecting her character. Claudia Black and Laura Bailey reprised their roles as Chloe and Nadine, respectively, through voice and motion capture, and assisted writer Josh Scherr and creative director Shaun Escayg with the development of the characters and story. The game builds upon gameplay elements established in previous Uncharted titles with its more open-ended gameplay. The Lost Legacy was well received by critics, who praised its graphics and gameplay, but criticized its lack of innovation.

Final Fantasy IX Review! Worth the Price? (PS4 Version)

Final Fantasy IX (ファイナルファンタジーIX Fainaru Fantajī Nain) is a role-playing video game developed and published by Square for the PlayStation video game console. Originally released in 2000, it is the ninth title in the Final Fantasy series and last to debut on the original PlayStation console. In 2010, it was re-released as a PSone Classics title on the PlayStation Network. The game introduced new features to the series like the "Active Time Event", "Mognet", and a unique equipment and skill system. Final Fantasy IX's plot at first centers on a war between nations in a medieval fantasy world called Gaia. Players follow bandit Zidane Tribal after the thief troupe to which he belongs is hired to kidnap Garnet Til Alexandros XVII, the princess of Alexandria. He goes on to team up with Garnet and a growing cast of characters on a quest to take down Queen Brahne of Alexandria, the one responsible for starting the war. The plot shifts, however, when it is revealed that Brahne was only working alongside a much more menacing threat, Kuja, who shares a mysterious history with Zidane spanning two worlds. Final Fantasy IX was developed alongside Final Fantasy VIII, but took a different approach by returning to the more traditional style of the early Final Fantasy games. Consequently, Final Fantasy IX was influenced significantly by the original Final Fantasy game, and features allusions to other titles in the series. It was released to critical acclaim and holds the highest Metacritic score of all Final Fantasy installments. Final Fantasy IX was commercially successful, selling over five million units worldwide by March 2003. Ports for iOS and Android were released in February 2016, while a port for Microsoft Windows was released in April 2016.

The Evil Within 2 is an upcoming third-person survival horror video game developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is the sequel to the 2014 video game The Evil Within. Mobius is a corporation with unknown motives. With the aim of bringing the world "peace and order", Mobius created the STEM device, which connects human minds to an alternate dimension. In the aftermath of the first game's event, Detective Sebastian Castellanos was dismissed from the police department, and his story was not trusted by anyone. Similar to its predecessor, the game is a survival horror game. Played from a third-person perspective, the player assumes control of detective Sebastian Castellanos, who must descend into the world of Union to rescue his daughter, Lily. There are three difficulty modes, namely Casual, which producer Shinji Mikami recommends, Survival, and Nightmare. In The Evil Within 2, maps are larger and there are multiple ways for players to advance in a level. The player is also given an item known as "The Communicator", which helps to highlight the objectives, resources, and enemies featured in the game's world. It will also reveal Resonance points, which provides hints regarding what had happened in the world of Union. Players can explore the map area freely to complete side objectives and scout for resources, which are scarce. Players can engage in direct confrontation with enemies using weapons like guns, or use stealth to prevent themselves from being noticed or sneak behind enemies to kill them silently.

The game is the second to be developed by Tokyo RPG Factory, and considered a spiritual successor to their first title, I Am Setsuna. The game was released in Japan in October 2017, and is scheduled for release in January 2018 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows in North America, Europe and Australia. The game follows a young male adventurer named Kanata, who along with his friends Lumina and Locke, is looking for a way to eliminate the "White Fog", which is slowly destroying their hometown of Eru. n 2014, Square Enix formed a new development studio named "Tokyo Dream Factory". Square Enix appointed Atsushi Hashimoto to lead the company due to his views aligning with their goal for the company, namely creating JRPGs similar to those developed in the 1990's during the fourth generation of video game consoles such as Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy but for more modern video game consoles. The company's first game, I Am Setsuna, was released in 2016, and was successful enough to warrant developing a second title.[4] The follow up, Lost Sphear, was officially revealed on May 30, 2017, being announced for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows platforms, dropping Setsuna's PlayStation Vita platform. A demo of the game was made playable at PAX West, and was made downloadable in Japan, in September 2017. The game was released on October 12, 2017 in Japan, and is scheduled for release on January 23, 2018, in the West.[

This collection contains the original Shenmue, which launched on the Dreamcast in 1999, as well as the 2001 sequel, which came out on both Dreamcast and the original Xbox. The suggested retail price for the collection is $30. While these aren't true HD remakes or remasters of the games, they do come with some advantages over the originals beyond being playable on modern hardware. You'll be able to choose between classic or modern controls, they have scalable screen resolution, and for the first time in the US, you can play with Japanese audio. If you want to re-play these games--or see why so many fans contributed over $6 million to Shenmue III's Kickstarter--you might be looking to pre-order the collection. Here's everything you need to know to pre-order Shenmue I & II. #Shenmue #ShenmueCollection #ShenmueReview

Sane Trilogy is an upcoming platform video game compilation developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision for the PlayStation 4. The game is a collection of remasters of the first three titles in the Crash Bandicoot series: Crash Bandicoot, Cortex Strikes Back and Warped, which were all originally developed by Naughty Dog for the PlayStation. The game is set for release on June 30, 2017. N. Sane Trilogy is a collection of remasters of the first three games in the Crash Bandicoot series, Crash Bandicoot, Cortex Strikes Back and Warped, which all feature the title character traversing various levels in order to stop Dr. Neo Cortex. Like in the original games, Crash uses spinning and jumping techniques to defeat enemies, smash crates, and collect items such as Wumpa Fruits, extra lives, and protective Aku Aku masks. The trilogy adds new features across all three games, including unified checkpoints, pause menus and save systems, including both manual and automatic saving, time trials, which were first introduced in Warped, and the ability to play through each game as Coco Bandicoot, Crash's sister, with the exception of certain boss battles and Crash's vehicle/animal riding levels.[1] It also features high-definition 4K resolution and remastered audio.

DOOM on Nintendo Switch Review! Worth Buying AGAIN?

The legendary demon shooter DOOM has somehow come to the Nintendo Switch but how does it stack up? Let's dive into the graphics, controls, and how fun it is in my review of DOOM on Switch! This video goes into detail about general story, combat controls, pro controller use, motion controls, graphics comparisons with the PS4 and Xbox One X vs Nintendo Switch, and how great arcade mode is along with slightly gameplay clips of online play and single player story mode. Everything is shown both in full dock mode gameplay and handheld gameplay/ Doom is a first-person shooter video game developed by id Software and published by Bethesda Softworks. A reboot of the Doom franchise, it is the fourth title in the main series and the first major installment since Doom 3 in 2004. It was released worldwide on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on May 13, 2016 and is powered by id Tech 6. A port for Nintendo Switch, co-developed with Panic Button, is scheduled for release on November 10, 2017. Players take the role of an unnamed marine as he battles demonic forces from Hell that have been unleashed by the Union Aerospace Corporation on a future-set colonized planet Mars. The gameplay returns to a faster pace with more open-ended levels, closer to the first two games than the slower survival horror approach of Doom 3. It also features environment traversal, character upgrades, and the ability to perform executions known as "glory kills". The game also supports an online multiplayer component and a level editor known as "SnapMap", co-developed with Certain Affinity[b] and Escalation Studios respectively. Doom was announced as Doom 4 in 2008, but underwent an extensive development cycle with different builds and designs before being restarted in 2011, and revealed as simply Doom in 2014. It was tested by customers who pre-ordered the Bethesda game Wolfenstein: The New Order, and also by the general public. Mick Gordon composed the music for the game, with additional music contributed by Ben F. Carney, Chris Hite, and Chad Mossholder. Doom was well received by critics and players. The single-player campaign, graphics, and gameplay received considerable acclaim and praise, with reviewers crediting the game for recapturing the spirit of the classic Doom games and first-person shooters of the 1990s, whereas the multiplayer mode drew the most significant criticism. It was the second best-selling video game in North America and the UK a few weeks after its release, and sold over 500,000 copies for PCs within the same period.

Blizzard Screws Gamers AGAIN! The Blizzcon App is SPYWARE?

After signing up for Blizzcon 2019 I started looking into the REQUIRED app and what I found was AWFUL so lets talk about it! Like and subscribe if you enjoyed it! Contacts read your contacts Location approximate location (network-based) precise location (GPS and network-based) Camera take pictures and videos Wi-Fi connection information view Wi-Fi connections Other receive data from Internet view network connections pair with Bluetooth devices full network access prevent device from sleeping view network connections read battery statistics pair with Bluetooth devices access Bluetooth settings full network access run at startup control vibration prevent device from sleeping modify system settings Wow. So the bluetooth permissions are going to be used to track you as you walk around the event. There will be bluetooth beacons hidden in places and your phone will detect them and the app will know where in the venue you are located even if your GPS is off. The same goes for Wifi Connections at key locations at the Venue. This is fairly common for medium and large venues. It gives the venue information on what was popular, how long people stayed in various areas, etc. But just because it is common doesn't mean this type of tracking is "ok", especially when that information is given out to companies that are not hosting the even. Most people have no idea this happens or how common it is. The "Adjust System Settings" permission allows it to do things like... Turn on your GPS, turn on your wifi, turn on your bluetooth. Run at startup ensures it's background services will be up and running at all times, which can be used for tracking. Full network Access allows the app to send all of the tracking information out to the internet, including a list of every one of your contacts, your location history since the app was installed, the history of what wifi networks were in range since the app was installed, and your history of all of the bluetooth beacons placed around the event that you walked in range of. #Blizzcon2019 #Blizzard #Blizzcon

Are Gaming Loot Boxes FINALLY being Banned for REAL?

"EDM Detection Mode" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) today announced a bill that would ban loot boxes and pay-to-win microtransactions in “games played by minors,” a broad label that the senator says will include both games designed for kids under 18 and games “whose developers knowingly allow minor players to engage in microtransactions.” Hawley will introduce the bill, “The Protecting Children from Abusive Games Act,” to the U.S. Senate soon. In press materials announcing the bill, Hawley’s team brought up the Activision game Candy Crush as an egregious example of pay-to-win microtransactions thanks to its $150 “Luscious Bundle” that comes with a whole bunch of goodies. This bill will also likely apply to a host of online games that feature loot boxes and other ways in which players can spend money for real benefits. “When a game is designed for kids, game developers shouldn’t be allowed to monetize addiction,” Hawley said in a press release. “And when kids play games designed for adults, they should be walled off from compulsive microtransactions. Game developers who knowingly exploit children should face legal consequences.” #GamingNews #GamingLootboxes #LootBoxBan
