First try reducing the game's contrast setting. If that doesn't help, locate SHADERS MAX's ShaderSettings.txt -file in your .../gamedata/shaders/r2, and look up "//Saturation and Contrast" -section. REDUCE the sun's influence on saturation: #define COLOR_SAT_SUN_COEF float(0.30) If you want very cool and moody Zone, try adjust thing the "level of grey" setting above it: #define COLOR_SATURATION float(0.50) -Headbobbing movement making you sick? Start by typing this into console: cam_inert 0.1 Still not good? Then locate the ZRP-mod's Modifier.exe in the Gamedata-folder, run it, and find the "Head bobbing" options from the list. A brief comparison video between vanilla and STARTER PACK's visuals and elements. ... All those fresh rookies may have hard time telling if their Starter Pack is even working, so this video should highlight the most striking initial effects. It should also help some people decide which parts of Starter Pack they may want to install. I'd personally almost prefer the vanilla weather for example, if the nights wouldn't be so very bright and days often so gray. FEW TIPS: 1) The stretchy shadows at the edges of the screen can be fixed by typing these to console during the game: r2_sun_near 20. r2_sun_near_border 1. 2) Is the game looking too colorful, too vivid after installing the SWO mod? First try reducing the game's contrast setting. If that doesn't help, locate SHADERS MAX's ShaderSettings.txt -file in your .../gamedata/shaders/r2, and look up "//Saturation and Contrast" -section. REDUCE the sun's influence on saturation: #define COLOR_SAT_SUN_COEF float(0.40) If you want very cool and moody Zone, try adjust thing the "level of grey" setting above it: #define COLOR_SATURATION float(0.50) STALKER games and musics used are (c) to the late GSC team. Mods mentioned are (c) their corresponding creators.

Some people claim that the weapons in Stalker games, especially the starting guns, lack stopping power, to the point that "people survive a mag-full of bullets to the face". I decided to prove that these rumors are just absurd lies, by playing a non-modded Stalker: SoC, on Master difficulty. The opponents in the video are regular military soldiers, who possess the strongest armors up until around the mid-game. Their suits don't offer any head protection, but not too many suits in the game do, at least not much. While use of pistols in general isn't really recommended after the beginning, especially not the low-tier 9x18 ones, they're still enough to drop your enemies. I suspect that the people spreading these rumors simply have trouble hitting their targets, or use handguns way past their maximum reach.

Afraid of Monsters is a singleplayer Half-life 1 horror mod that contains lots of dark themes and pure "mind-screw". After games like Silent Hill it was one of the scariest experiences I had ever played! That's untill one of my friend started to have these way too hilarious... 'problems' with some of the monsters in the game! Especially these fish-thingies caused some plain weird events I had not experienced on my playthrough: Fishes flying in the air, following player to way too thight air ducts, and jumping on the dry land! I was lucky to capture one of these hilarious happenings with Fraps, when one of these things followed me up the stairs! Too bad Fraps screwed up the resolution, so only part of the screen is visible, but it should show enough to give you the basic idea. :)

Bethesda's gone haywire, and started demanding restrictions on shared footage of the upcoming D44M. This includes crude and noisy still-shot compilations, made out of public YT videos! Google and some image boards have gotten copyright infringement claims, and thus don't allow you to post the picture shown in vid without minor edits. royalty free song: "Impending Boom" by Kevin MacLeod.
