'You killed our future': Man throws himself from balcony in Romanian parliament

01:05
Romania's Parliament cancelled a no-confidence vote on Thursday after a father whose payments for his disabled child had been cut by the Romanian government leapt from a balcony in the parliament in protest against the decision. He was not seriously injured. A loud thud reverberated in the chamber after the man, Adrian Sobaru - identified by the country's public television station as one of its engineers - hit the benches shortly after Prime Minister Emil Boc greeted the lawmakers. As he jumped, he could be heard shouting: 'Boc, you've taken away the rights of our children'. Mr Sobaru, who suffered fractures to the face, and other non life-threatening injuries, was able to get into the parliament because he works as an electrician for the national television station. He then shouted "Liberty and Justice" as he was taken to hospital. He was also wearing a T-shirt with the slogan 'You've killed our future', according to reports. Chile 8.8 earthquake

02:53
A devastating magnitude-8.8 earthquake struck Chile early Saturday, toppling homes and buildings, collapsing bridges and spawning a tsunami that rolled menacingly across the Pacific. At least 147 people were killed in the strongest earthquake to hit the country in 50 years and one of the strongest ever measured anywhere, according to Carmen Fernandez, director of the National Emergency Agency. "Unfortunately, Chile is a country of catastrophes," President-elect Sebastian Pinera said, adding the quake heavily damaged many of the country's roads, airports and ports. President Michelle Bachelet declared a "state of catastrophe" in central Chile and said hundreds of homes, schools, hospitals and other structures were flattened or damaged. Chileans near the epicenter were tossed about as if shaken by a giant. Local radio reported 100 people were missing in a collapsed building in hard-hit Concepcion, one of Chile's largest cities with around 670,000 inhabitants. Firefighters were working to put out fires throughout the city, and most of the buildings in the city center were destroyed. At least three people were killed by huge earthquake-triggered waves that smashed into Chile's Robinson Crusoe Island, a remote, rocky island named for the fictional, stranded sailor, Reuters reported. The U.S. Geological Survey said the earthquake struck 56 miles northeast of the city of Concepcion at a depth of 22 miles at 3:34 a.m. (1:34 a.m. ET). The quake shook buildings in Argentina's capital of Buenos Aires, and was felt as far away as Sao Paulo in Brazil — 1,800 miles to the east. More than 50 aftershocks of magnitude 5 or greater were reported in the hours after the quake.

Tomb Raider The Last Revelation: Quick Walkthrough - Coastal Ruins 1st [HD]

10:48
Level nº 14; Located in Egypt, Alexandria; No secrets on this one. As the name suggests, these are the ruins of Greek and Roman buildings from Classical Alexandria - palaces, temples and other buildings. This fits with the real life Alexandria itself - the city had many fantastic buildings in it's Hellenistic heyday - buildings such as the Timonium, the Emporium, the Serapeum and the Musaeum, which housed Alexandria's famous Library; which you will see later on. It is a gorgeously aesthetic level, with a beautiful outside area in which plenty of secret exploring can be done. It is possible to jump a huge section of the game, - cutting out the much-loathed section in which Lara revisits various areas of the immense Catacombs and the coastal ruins surrounding them an inordinate amount of times - and arrive straight at the Temple of Isis by leaping along the rocks in the sea and jumping into the water at the right point - sadly however, the two needed keys to get past the first water room are found in an area you won't have visited yet, and therefore you must wait and traverse the whole section of the game. 7.0 earthquake hits Haiti Serious loss of life expected (News)

00:20
A major earthquake struck southern Haiti on Tuesday, knocking down buildings and power lines and inflicting what its ambassador to the United States called a catastrophe for the Western Hemisphere's poorest nation. Several eyewitnesses reported heavy damage and bodies in the streets of the capital, Port-au-Prince, where concrete-block homes line steep hillsides. There was no estimate of the dead and wounded Tuesday evening, but the U.S. State Department has been told to expect serious loss of life department spokesman P.J. Crowley told reporters in Washington. The only thing I can do now is pray and hope for the best the ambassador, Raymond Alcide Joseph The magnitude 7.0 quake -- the most powerful to hit Haiti in a century -- struck shortly before 5 p.m. and was centered about 10 miles (15 kilometers) southwest of Port-au-Prince, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. It could be felt strongly in eastern Cuba, more than 200 miles away, witnesses said. Video: Destruction in Haiti Video: Witness describes 'severe jolting' Video: 'I felt the house shaking' Interactive: Measuring earthquakes Interactive: Haiti map Experts warned of earthquake risk on Haiti Mike Godfrey, an American contractor working for the U.S. Agency for International Development, said "a huge plume of dust and smoke rose up over the city" within minutes of the quake -- "a blanket that completely covered the city and obscured it for about 20 minutes." Witnesses reported damaged buildings throughout the capital, including the president's residence and century-old homes nearby, and The Associated Press reported that a hospital collapsed. President Rene Preval is safe, Joseph said, but there was no estimate of the dead and wounded Tuesday evening. He said an official of his government told him houses had crumbled "on the right side of the street and the left side of the street." "He said it is a catastrophe of major proportions," Joseph said. Impact Your World: How you can help Frank Williams, the Haitian director of the relief agency World Vision International, said the quake left people "pretty much screaming" all around Port-au-Prince. He said the agency's building shook for about 35 seconds, "and portions of things on the building fell off." "None of our staff were injured, but lots of walls are falling down," Williams said. "Many of our staff have tried to leave, but were unsuccessful because the walls from buildings and private residences are falling into the streets, so that it has pretty much blocked significantly most of the traffic." Read what people in Haiti are saying via social media Haiti's government is backed by a U.N. peacekeeping mission established after the ouster of former President Jean-Bertrand Aristide in 2004. The headquarters of the U.N. peacekeeping mission in Port-au-Prince collapsed, a U.N. official told CNN. There was no immediate report of any dead or wounded from the building, but Alain Le Roy, the undersecretary-general for peacekeeping operations said of the 9,000-member, Brazilian led-force, "For the moment, a large number of personnel remain unaccounted for." Outside the capital, several people were hurt when they rushed to get out of a school in the southwestern city of Les Cayes, said the Rev. Kesner Ajax, the school's executive director. Two homes in the area collapsed and the top of a church collapsed in a nearby town, he said, but he did not know of any fatalities. Les Cayes, a city of about 400,000 people, is about 140 miles (225 kilometers) southwest of Port-au-Prince. The quake took place about 6 miles (10 kilometers) underground, according to the USGS -- a depth that can produce severe shaking. At least 10 aftershocks followed, including two in the magnitude 5 range, the USGS reported. Jean Bernard, an eyewitness in Port-au-Prince, told CNN the city had no electricity Tuesday evening. The first quake lasted 35 to 40 seconds, he said. "A lot of houses [and] buildings went down, and people are still running all over the streets," Bernard said. "People are looking for their wives, looking for their husbands and their kids. It's scary." Luke Renner, an American staying in Cap-Hatien, a city nearly 100 miles north of Port-au-Prince, said he was sitting at his home when "the whole world started to shake." "It felt like our whole house was balancing on a beach ball," Renner said. "We heard the whole community screaming and in an uproar during that whole 20- to 30-second window." "I haven't seen any structural damage here," Renner continued. "With the sun setting it may be difficult to tell. In the morning we'll know for sure." Because of the earthquake's proximity to the capital, and because the city is densely populated and has poorly constructed housing, "it could cause significant casualties," said Jian Lin, a senior geologist at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Massachusetts.

Vin Fischer - While You Were Sleeping (Live in Myrtle Beach, SC) ft. Patrick Fischer on bass

03:06
Vin Fischer playing his original song "While You Were Sleeping" with Patrick Fischer on bass at Fresh Brewed Coffee House in Myrtle Beach, SC. Lyrics: It was late. You were tired. We went to bed. You fell asleep. It was late. I was restless. You didn't notice me leave. I took a walk in the dark through some alleyways and streets the darkened landscape was so familiar where the streetlights and riverbed meet. I heard the whistle of a train I chased it down, but it was gone the lights were strange and unfamiliar but somehow, it felt like home maybe I belong on the streets far away from the comfort of our sheets maybe I need to be alone and lose everything to gain anything maybe I found myself while you were sleeping I took a walk into the shadows where I've never gone before I realized, I had more time and these worlds to explore I took a walk into the night where I discovered an unseen art orange skies, synthetic lights, and empty buildings falling apart maybe I belong on the streets far away from the comfort of our sheets maybe I need to be alone and lose everything to gain anything maybe I found myself while you were sleeping I came home, and got in bed you awoke and all you said was "good morning" you didn't know my story wrote while you were sleeping Copyright 2010 Vin Fischer

Amazing Places At Kew Gardens

08:58
(Pls Watch in Full HD 720 or 1080 ) ** These are a few places which I captured at Kew..It is so huge and it is impossible to cover the whole of it..Hope you will like these plants and bushes like me...** The vast Princess of Wales Conservatory recreates ten climatic zones under one roof. Beneath its sloping glass roof, visitors can wander among Madagascan baobob trees, observe climbing vanilla orchids from Central America and watch carnivorous plants from Asia eating flies for lunch. The Princess of Wales Conservatory was commissioned in 1982 to replace a group of 26 smaller buildings that were falling into disrepair. It was named after Princess Augusta, founder of Kew, and opened in 1987 by Lady Diana, Princess of Wales. It is the most complex conservatory at Kew, containing ten computer-controlled climatic zones under one roof. The two main climate zones are the 'dry tropics', representing the world's warm, arid areas, and the 'wet tropics', housing moisture loving plants from ecosystems such as rainforests and mangrove swamps. The eight remaining microclimates include a seasonally dry zone containing desert and savanna plants, plus sections for carnivorous plants, ferns and orchids. The southern end is heated more by the sun than the northern end, so this is where visitors find towering spikes of echiums and silver agaves from dry tropical regions such as the arid Canary Islands. The central area contains an elevated aquaria, complete with waterlily pond and the dangling roots of mangroves, plus displays of orchids and carnivorous plants. At the northern end are species from the moist tropics, including banana, pineapple, pepper and ginger. Towards the northern end of the glasshouse, are some familiar houseplants originating from the wet tropics. Grass Garden =========== The Grass Garden created in 1982 to showcase some of the world's 9,000 species of grass. They are some of the world's most economically important plants, providing us with cereals such as wheat, rice and barley to eat, as well as cattle fodder. Grasses form the basis for many alcoholic drinks and are widely used around the globe for creating structures and providing thatch for buildings. Scientists estimate that grasses make up 20 per cent of the Earth's vegetation. Kew's display contains some 550 species and the collection is still growing. Specimens range from delicate clumps of feathery Hordeum hystrix to tall stands of the Korean feather reed grass Calamagrostis brachytricha. Increasingly, grasses are being used as sources of renewable energy. For example, sugar cane is widely used to make ethanol to power road vehicles in Brazil. In 2008, Brazil produced 24 billion litres of fuel in this way.

We also had several other people help who jumped on camera for a little bit while we were filming. Shout out to the Ensoul team, a team of extremely talented bikers , break dancers, poppers, and free runners. We had several of there team members doing the stunts for the video. You can check out there facebook page here... http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ensoul/102017526521629?v We had one person get hurt filming the video, he was the second crash that appears. He ended up with 6 stitches in his knee cap. The week before we filmed someone had broken their neck on the jump. On a technical note, it was filmed on a Canon 5D Mark II, 2 Canon 2Ti's, and one EX1. I used a glidecam 4000 HD for all the smooth shots. You can check out the exact model on their official website here where you can also buy them. http://www.glidecam.com/ We also had an assortment of lenses, Canon and Nikon. My favorite personal lens that I used was a Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 L series lens. I used this lens and the Glidecam 4000 HD for the opening couple shots with the biker before the jump. For the shots with the camera on the biker, we used an HD Surf GoPro. It was my first time working with a GoPro, and I was super skeptical at first because of the small size of the camera, but with its slomo, and easiness to use after you spend a little of time with it, it worked great. And I was surprised how well it cut with the footage from our Canon cameras. No disappointments. All the GoPro footage was shot at 60fps as well, and 720p. You can buy/learn more about GoPro cameras in their official website below. http://www.GoPro.com We used the program "Twixtor" for a couple of the shots, which put it in even more slomo then what we shot it at. I converted all the video footage to ApplePro Res, which I then edited with Final Cut Pro. I then colored it in Apple's Color, it was my first time coloring myself, so it was a learning opportunity. Coldplay - Speed Of Sound

06:43
Coldplay are an English alternative rock band, formed in London in 1998. The group comprises Chris Martin (lead vocals, keyboards, guitar), Jonny Buckland (lead guitar), Guy Berryman (bass guitar), and Will Champion (drums, backing vocals, other instruments). Speed Of Sound is the 7th track of the 3rd album of Coldplay called: X&Y Lyrics: How long before I get in? Before it starts, before I begin How long before you decide? Before I know what it feels like Where to? Where do I go? If you've never tried then you'll never know How long do I have to climb Up on the side of this mountain of mine? Look up, I look up at night Planets are moving at the speed of light Climb up, up in the trees Every chance that you get is a chance you seize How long am I gonna stand With my head stuck under the sand? I'll stop before I can stop Or before I see things the right way up All that noise and all that sound All those places I got found And birds go flying at the speed of sound To show you how it all began Birds came flying from the underground If you could see it then you'd understand Ideas that you'll never find Or the inventors could never design The buildings that you put up Or Japan and China, all lit up The sign that I couldn't read Or a light that I couldn't see Some things you have to believe But others are puzzles, puzzling me All that noise and all that sound All those places I got found And birds go flying at the speed of sound To show you how it all began Birds came flying from the underground If you could see it then you'd understand Oh, when you see it then you'll understand All those signs I knew what they meant Some things you can't invent Some get made and some get sent, ooh Birds go flying at the speed of sound To show you how it all began Birds came flying from the underground If you could see it then you'd understand Oh, when you see it then you'll understand

Dramatic amateur footage of deadly mudslide in Colombia

00:57
Rescue workers resumed their search and rescue efforts on Tuesday, after up to 30 people were buried by a mudslide near the town of Giraldo in northwestern Colombia. Authorities had reported that the strong rainy season caused flooding and made many roads unusable across Colombia in recent weeks. The magnitude of the mudslide was making rescue operations very difficult. Authorities said on Tuesday that the rescue operations may take up to a week. Amateur video shows the slide as it tumbled down, wiping out several homes.

1515 Tower Demolition, WPB FL

01:44
I FILMED THIS! With a Sony HDV HandiCam HDR-HC3 The story: http://www.wflx.com/global/story.asp?s=11954177 WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) - The hurricane-battered 1515 tower near downtown West Palm Beach came down Sunday morning. Update, SUN 9:20 AM: It took 2,000 sticks of dynamite and seven seconds to bring the tower down. Cheers rang out as the eye shore building fall straight down leaving a massive pile of debris. The explosion could be heard a half mile away and the cloud of dust could be seen for miles. Workers have until May to clean up the site to make room for a new building along Flagler Drive. Previously: Neighbors in nearby condos have endured the 1515 eyesore since the 2004 hurricanes. While eager to see the nuisance gone, neighbors also wonder what will happen to their buildings. "I live in Viking Arms, and we're a little concerned," said Larry Ayers, who watched the workers Monday while he was sitting on the seawall. Eric Kelly, whose company; Advanced Explosives Demolition; is handling the implosion, said the plan is to bring the building straight down. Dynamite will only be placed on six different floors saying the dynamite essentially acts as a catalyst and gravity does the rest. "It's quite a detailed process," said Kelly. "Not like you see in the movies. It's very much a science, and you try to minimize the amount of explosives you use, so you don't have material flying all over the place." Curtains will be draped from the roofs of the neighboring condo buildings. This should stop any flying debris and help reduce the dust. The implosion is set for 9:00 a.m. Sunday. Police will start closing the roads around 1515 Tower at 6:00 a.m. The City of West Palm Beach is making the area within 750 feet of the implosion off-limits and evacuating all buildings within 500 feet. On land, sidewalks and the seawall are about the only public areas close to the implosion site. The city encourages those viewing the implosion to drive downtown, park in public garages and street spaces, and walk to your viewing spot. "There's no parking in the immediate vicinity that's public parking," pointed out Doug Wise of the city's Construction Services Division. "There's no facilities. There's no bathrooms or anything like that. We can't make it a public event." Therefore, give yourself plenty of time.

A Sonamy Story...

06:14
EDIT 3- Awww guys I love all your lovely comments, thanks so much :') Btw so people don't keep asking, this is the music: Everytime by Britney Spears The begining of the video before amy has her dream is just some music taken from sonic The rest is 'everytime' by brittney spears (i edited it so it would last the whole movie) Another point, i might make a knouge one, and possibly a crails one as well in the future, you'll have to wait and see, it was pretty difficult making this, not to mention i have to find a good song, plot etc... EDIT 2- I have started writing a fanfic on this video. Go to my youtube account to find the link to my account. The story is called 'Waters of Change' EDIT- omg lol i just realised there is a random flash off eggman in there when amy and sonic are arguing on the beach X( plz ignore. I've really gotten back into the sonamy couple :D so here is a story I made up about them, dedicated to all you Sonamy fans out there ;) *STORYLINE* It is a moonlit night, and we can see a pciture of Sonic and Amy, and Amy herself, sleeping. At the start Amy has a nightmare about being in battle with Sonic, and him not being able to rescue her. This dream occurs frequently. The next day she's sitting in her apartment, drinking tea and thinking about Sonic. The last time they met, they had fight which resulted in Amy crying and Sonic running off. She feels hurt by Sonics mean words, which is why she hasn't been sen for over a week. She decides to go to the beach she remembers, to cheer herself up, but it won't be the same without him. Meanwhile our trusted blue friend Sonic is feeling blue. (excuse the bad pun) He remebers how he yelled at Amy and made hr cry, and he feels terrible He really misses her, and is a bit hurt that she left. He really does like Amy but he knows that if they're together she is in danger, and sometimes she can get a bit annoying. He decides to clear his head a bit, and dashes off until he comes across a beach. He gazes out at the water for a while. Of course it just happens to be the same beach that Amy goes to. She spots the blue headgehog and quickly ducks out of sight, wondering whether she should speak to him or not. She walks slowly behind him, and as she extends a hand out to touch him, he turns around, sensing her presence. There is a sad, regretful look in his eyes. It's a pretty tense atmosphere, broken by Amy's quiet, and hurt voice. She's asking why he didn't come and see how she was after fight, nad he answered bakc why did she disapear like that? They both begin arguing again, until Amy can't take it anymore. She breaks down into tears. This is whne the picture of them smashes. Sonic is shocked by this, and once again makes her cry. He can't do anything but stand there, feling horrible and mean. Amy explains through the tears that she left because she knew that he hated her, and she couldn't stand being around him when he felt that way. She tells him she couldn't love anyone else, and that if she didn't leave, her heart might shatter. Sonic, who thought that she hated him and didn't love him anymore, begins to smil, with affection and pure love. Throguh her tears Amy hears Sonic whisper her name. She looks up, and sees his smiling face. He puts his hands on her soulders, and explains that he never hated her, he has always loved her, but didn't say for her own protection. Amy at this point, is confused and can't believe what she's hearing. She looks at him with big emerald eyes, overflowing with love, and tells him that she loves him. They are about to kiss.... But eggman breaks the moment. The ground shakes, and Amy and Sonic are wobbled about. Sonic holds Amy to stop her falling. Eggman laughs evily and remrks about their 'new found love' which he is about to destroy. Sonics wories are coming true. A giant robot comes to life, and Sonic, being the hero he is, leads it away form Amy. Unfortunately, the robot is very strong, and Sonic is thrown through buildings, too weak to carry on. Amy sees this, and gets really pissed off. She doesnt want her love to go, when they only just confessed their feelings. he gets out her Piko Piko hammer and beats up the robot. Making one last stand, she bounces up, and blows up eggman in the sea. Sonic realises sometihng is wrong when she doesn't surface for air, so he uses the last of his strength, and overcomes his fear. He dives into the water, and sees Amy, gently floating down, nearly unconcious. She opens her eyes one last time, and sees Sonic reaching out for her, before she drifts into blackness. Amy waks up to the sound of Sonic calling her name. he sees him worried, a bit shaken and wet, but otherwise fine. He tells her that he loves her, and holds out his hand. Amy take it, her eyes shining, and the two kiss as the sun goes down on another day...

WTC Building 7 - Controlled Demolition

00:25
For nine years, the American people and the world have been kept in the dark about an event of monumental significance: the freefall collapse of World Trade Center Building 7. Building 7 was a 47-story skyscraper and was part of the World Trade Center complex. It collapsed at 5:20 pm on September 11, 2001. It was not hit by an airplane and suffered minimal damage compared to other buildings much closer to the Twin Towers. 7 Facts about Building 7: 1) If fire caused Building 7 to collapse, it would be the first ever fire-induced collapse of a steel-frame high-rise. 2) Building 7's collapse was not mentioned in the 9/11 Commission Report. 3) According to a Zogby poll in 2006, 43% of Americans did not know about Building 7. 4) It took the federal government seven years to conduct an investigation and issue a report for Building 7. 5) 1,250 architects and engineers have signed a petition calling for a new investigation that would include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives for the collapse of Building 7. 6) Numerous witnesses say the possibility of demolishing Building 7 was widely discussed by emergency personnel at the scene and advocated by the building's owner. 7) Building 7 housed several intelligence and law enforcement agencies, and the NYC Office of Emergency Management's Emergency Operations Center, more commonly known as "Giuliani's Bunker". What about World Trade Center Buildings 3, 4, 5 and 6? In addition to the Twin Towers and Building 7, the World Trade Center complex included buildings 3, 4, 5, and 6. Compared to Building 7, all of these buildings were severely damaged, first by falling rubble from the tower collapses, then by fires that burned for hours. Although these buildings were in critical condition, none of them collapsed. Learn much more about Building 7 here: http://www.WhatIsTheTruth.info

Veritas Show - Adrian Salbuchi - The Coming World Government - 2 of 5

14:14
S y n o p s i s During Adrian Salbuchi's second appearance on The Veritas Show, he discussed his new book: The Coming World Government: Tragedy and Hope? This book takes us from the perspective of Argentina, all the way to a global scale. Argentina, as confirmed by Adrian is fertile beta testing ground for the elite. A disproportionate amount of land has been purchased in the past few years by a certain group of foreigners. As Argentina continues falling into debt, courtesy of the International Monetary Fund (I.M.F.), it is suspected that in the future, when the nation can no longer repay its obligation, they will cede a large portion of the country in lieu of their debt. This, and many other topics, are discussed during this show. Some of the topics discussed are so controversial that even the alternative media does not discuss them. B i o Adrian Salbuchi is a researcher, author, lecturer, and international business consultant, from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Adrian specializes in the analysis of power structures, political, economic and financial globalization. He is the host of the Buenos Aires, Argentina talk-show "El Traductor Radial" and founder of the Argentine Second Republic Movement. He is the author of many books on geopolitics, international and other topics, and include: "The World's Mastermind: the Hidden Face of Globalization") and Welcome to the Jungle: Domain and Survival in the New World Order. Central Coast student describes experience in Chile during massive quake

01:58
18-year old Atascadero resident Jillian Trockman has been living in Chile, studying as an exchange student over there. She had been planning to return home the day before the massive 8.8 earthquake struck. However, she decided that she wanted to stay an extra week and the following day is when the quake happened. Her return flight out now may not happen for a while, as the Santiago airport in Chile is pretty much closed except for military flights bringing in aid. Only a handful of other flights are going in and out right. She spoke with KSBY today about her experience so far dealing with the aftermath. The night the earthquake happened is remembered in vivid detail. "Pictures were falling and you can hear a bunch of glass shattering and I didn't have any shoes on so that was extremely dangerous. We were running outside, kind of shocked, adrenaline rushing, and I get outside and all of the houses are sort of swaying back and forth." The host home where she was staying suffered only minor damage, but some of her friends weren't so lucky. "I do have friends that lost their home and are salvaging what they can through the rubble and things...So it's sad, but we are a lot more lucky here in Santiago." Strict building codes for modern buildings helped them withstand major damage, but older structures were unable to handle such a strong earthquake. She took pictures of places close to where she is staying, some showing little damage, while others showed much more significant damage. The extra week there has her now in relief mode. While she thought about traveling to areas harder hit to offer some helping hands, she decided sending relief supplies would be better for now. "We are going to be sending food and basics like rice, noodles and powdered milk and things, but I'm not sure about going there myself. I think we would do a little more harm than good if we put our bodies over there." Here extra week there now is being spent in a way she never envisioned. Still, she is glad that she is there to be able to help however she can.
