"Carbon dates" actually show pyramids are OLDER than "they" say: RENOVATED, for 10,000 years?

08:58
Here is a link to the carbon dating summary discussed in the video. You will be able to see for yourself that the interior of the Khufu pyramid has NEVER BEEN assayed for date. They only tested the sides of the pyramid. I am saying this is really the LATEST EDGE. I am suggesting that Khufu may only have built the OUTER LAYER OF RUBBLE, followed by the the limestone layer. However, if you are going to go to all that trouble, he may as well have also renovated the chamber. Dig deep into the structures however and the dates go back. I show this. Pyramids would be layer after layer after layer, as in Mexico and any other huge mound around the world, not built all at once... suddenly... by one person. RIDICULOUS! Ask the engineers, ask anybody who knows about construction... It is WAY too much work to do this all at once. Carbon dating was performed in 1984 as well as 1995 and they clarified that as you go into the pyramids you start getting abnormal dates, centuries earlier before the outer layer... never discussed. This proves the pyramids were not built all at once but reworked. the dating merely dates the FINAL time of rework which was about 2500 BC. Underneath the Khufu pyramid especially we see a strange layer of bedrock. Guess what, the Great Sphinx and also tomb of Khentkawes would ALSO be described as 'bedrock' since that is basically what it is, carved out of the Giza plateau. This is where I get the 10k year old date, for the structure under the Giza pyramid if we take into consideration geological erosion. https://journals.uair.arizona.edu/index.php/radiocarbon/article/viewFile/3874/3299 #pyramids, #can't_Built_today #engineering #puma punku #collapsed_pyramid #destroyed_civilization #mexican_pyramids All vids, new discoveries: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4dkC_L7uyH2ZYl_ixWASIg/videos I now have a second channel. Radioactive and Radiocarbon Dating: Turning Foe Into Friend - Dr. Andrew Snelling

01:01:44
Few people who think that radiometric dating proves the earth is billions of years old really understand the underlying assumptions. Using simple illustrations, geologist Dr. Andrew Snelling examines these assumptions and equips viewers with information to counter their anti-biblical arguments. Though this topic can seem intimidating, Dr. Snelling boils it down to laymans level and walks the viewer through a basic understanding of the process used to date rocks and fossils. Using simple illustrations, the assumptions used to arrive at dates are exposed as faulty—and the evolutionary timescale along with them. Then, through several lines of evidence, including carbon-14 found in diamonds and fossils, the inconsistent nature of radiometric ages is revealed. Find our how creationists can turn this apparent foe into a friend by starting with Scripture as the ultimate authority!

Ancient Giants & Nephilim COVER-UP: Shocking Proof They Really Existed

03:37
Shocking proof of Ancient Giants and nephilim existing in history. Evidence of Rephaim Anakim Annunaki and giant human skulls found. Top 4 reasons why giants lived among us in ancient history. # 1- Evidence of Giants found, and the mystery of giant human skulls. They are present in nearly every culture worldwide. From Europe, Eastern Europe and Africa to the United States. Not only mentioned in many religious texts, such as the Bible and the Torah, for example King Og, written about in Deuteronomy, who was said to have been at least 12 feet tall. Many ancient historians, such as Herodotus and Pliny the elder, also described them in great detail in their works as well. They were written about in the legends of people worldwide. From the evidence of Goliath to he Paiute Indians, for example, of Nevada spoke of a race of red-haired giants, called the si-te-cah, that were 7-10 feet tall. They were said to be cannibals that preyed on the native population. That is until, according to their history, they chased them into a cave, the same cave in which their remains were found centuries later, and lit a very large fire at the mouth of that cave to suffocate them inside. All of the skeletons found inside had long red hair. # 2 - Giant Bones Found: The bones are also found worldwide. Hundreds of skeletons have been found all over Europe, Africa, the Middle East as well as the United States. Some ranging in height from 7-12 feet tall. And some even possibly taller. In the late 1950's a 15 foot skeleton was found in Turkey. Whose skull alone was 3 times the size of a normal human skull. While other, even larger skeletons have been unearthed, though little physical evidence still remains for the skeletons found in the Middle Ages, some reports put them at around 19 1/2 - 26 1/2 feet tall. Although, the remains of 2 separate giants that stood around 36 feet tall were found in North Africa around 2500 years ago. But how does this all tie into the great pyramid? Take a moment and do me a favor and hit the subscribe button. Maybe it was these Giants who helped build the pyramids. The enormous blocks to us must have seemed like footrests to these gigantic humans. In May of 1912, around lake Delavan in Wisconsin, giant bones were unearthed that stood 7.5-10 feet tall. They were even put on public display before they were taken down and "lost". # 3 - The amount of bones found show that the extreme height was not an anomaly. Most people today that are extremely tall have problems that are directly related to their height. The tallest person, Robert Wadlow, ever to live was nearly 9 feet tall but had many physical problems, such as weak bones and joints and was unable to do even the most basic things that we, average sized people do everyday. Thousands of giant bones have been uncovered worldwide with at least 60 specimens alone being taken from Lovelock cave in Nevada, and another 18 from Wisconsin. And that's just in North America. There are even reports of giants being found in Greece that have only 1 eye socket, matching the legends of Cyclops. We are still finding them even today with recent discoveries made in Croatia. # 4 - Science cover-up carbon dating evidence These bones have all been carbon dated, just like all the bones they find that they tell us about. The difference is that, since these bones do not fit into the traditional timeline they are kept from the public. Locked away in the basements of many museums around the world. These bones range in age from a few hundred years to several thousand years old. Carbon dating is only used when it fits the accepted timeline. Unfortunately when fossils are found that don't match up they just sweep them under the rug. And keep them hidden from the eyes of curious minds.

Helium: a problem for radiometric dating

01:01
Helium gas is renowned for its ability to diffuse through materials quickly. Why is it, then, that we find an abundance of helium in certain rock crystals—that it has not managed to escape from them? This has significant implications for the dating of rocks using radioactive decay. That’s because helium is formed when some radioisotopes decay, and therefore lots of helium suggests lots of decay has occurred. Moreover, if lots of decay has occurred, it also suggests that the rock is very old. However, Nuclear Physicist Dr Russell Humphreys realised that lots of helium trapped in the rock crystals that had not had time to diffuse out means that the rocks were actually young. Dr Humphreys concluded that nuclear decay rates must have been dramatically faster in the recent past, and that is why rocks that are actually only thousands of years old are commonly wrongly dated using radioisotope decay as millions or billions of years old. Carbon Dating for Kids: Learning the Science

05:14
Get the downloadable lab here: https://rosieresearch.com/shop/the-mummy-mystery-osmosis-and-carbon-dating/ Archaeologists use carbon dating to discover how old an object is. They compare the ratio of heavy Carbon 14 to it's lighter, and more plentiful sibling, Carbon 12. In labs mass spectrometers are able to separate them to find out how much of each is in a sample. In our activity we will use heavier nickels as Carbon 14 and lighter pennies as Carbon 12. Using similar principles we will accelerate the coins down a ramp and us a constant cross force of a hair dryer to change the direction of the coins. Pennies will hit the wall closer to the ramp, and the coins will make two separate groups - much like what you would see in a real mass spectrometer! Kids then count up the number of nickels and pennies, take the ratio, and use a chart to discover if their chicken mummy is from King Tut's tomb or an impostor! This is a fun hands on science activity that goes with our homeschool science curriculum in our October Mummy Mystery! What is RADIOCARBON DATING? What does RADIOCARBON DATING mean? RADIOCARBON DATING meaning

04:39
What is RADIOCARBON DATING? What does RADIOCARBON DATING mean? RADIOCARBON DATING meaning - RADIOCARBON DATING definition - RADIOCARBON DATING explanation. Source: Wikipedia.org article, adapted under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ license. Radiocarbon dating (also referred to as carbon dating or carbon-14 dating) is a method for determining the age of an object containing organic material by using the properties of radiocarbon (14 C), a radioactive isotope of carbon. The method was developed by Willard Libby in the late 1940s and soon became a standard tool for archaeologists. Libby received the Nobel Prize for his work in 1960. The radiocarbon dating method is based on the fact that radiocarbon is constantly being created in the atmosphere by the interaction of cosmic rays with atmospheric nitrogen. The resulting radiocarbon combines with atmospheric oxygen to form radioactive carbon dioxide, which is incorporated into plants by photosynthesis; animals then acquire 14 C by eating the plants. When the animal or plant dies, it stops exchanging carbon with its environment, and from that point onwards the amount of 14 C it contains begins to decrease as the 14 C undergoes radioactive decay. Measuring the amount of 14 C in a sample from a dead plant or animal such as a piece of wood or a fragment of bone provides information that can be used to calculate when the animal or plant died. The older a sample is, the less 14 C there is to be detected, and because the half-life of 14C (the period of time after which half of a given sample will have decayed) is about 5,730 years, the oldest dates that can be reliably measured by radiocarbon dating are around 50,000 years ago, although special preparation methods occasionally permit dating of older samples. The idea behind radiocarbon dating is straightforward, but years of work were required to develop the technique to the point where accurate dates could be obtained. Research has been ongoing since the 1960s to determine what the proportion of 14 C in the atmosphere has been over the past fifty thousand years. The resulting data, in the form of a calibration curve, is now used to convert a given measurement of radio-arbon in a sample into an estimate of the sample's calendar age. Other corrections must be made to account for the proportion of 14 C in different types of organisms (fractionation), and the varying levels of 14 C throughout the biosphere (reservoir effects). Additional complications come from the burning of fossil fuels such as coal and oil, and from the above-ground nuclear tests done in the 1950s and 1960s. Because the time it takes to convert biological materials to fossil fuels is substantially longer than the time it takes for its 14 C to decay below detectable levels, they contain almost no 14 C, and as a result there was a noticeable drop in the proportion of 14 C in the atmosphere beginning in the late 19th century. Conversely, nuclear testing increased the amount of 14 C in the atmosphere, which attained a maximum in 1963 of almost twice what it had been before the testing began. Measurement of radio-carbon was originally done by beta-counting devices, which counted the amount of beta radiation emitted by decaying 14 C atoms in a sample. More recently, accelerator mass spectrometry has become the method of choice; it counts all the 14 C atoms in the sample and not just the few that happen to decay during the measurements; it can therefore be used with much smaller samples (as small as individual plant seeds), and gives results much more quickly. The development of radiocarbon dating has had a profound impact on archaeology. In addition to permitting more accurate dating within archaeological sites than previous methods, it allows comparison of dates of events across great distances. Histories of archaeology often refer to its impact as the "radio-carbon revolution". Radiocarbon dating has allowed key transitions in prehistory to be dated, such as the end of the last ice age, and the beginning of the Neolithic and Bronze Age in different regions.

Radiocarbon Dating - How It Works

02:26
How Radiocarbon Dating Works Dr. Erle Nelson, Department of Archaeology, Simon Fraser University "Radiocarbon dating works because in the upper atmosphere a very strange event takes place; cosmic rays from outer space come in and interact with the earth’s atmosphere and create a special form of carbon called radiocarbon. It’s a radioactive isotope of carbon which eventually decays. We know what its half-life is. We know that it has a regular decay rate – one half of it disappears every 5, 568 years. This stuff is created in the upper atmosphere and is quickly converted into ordinary carbon dioxide, except that this carbon dioxide has radiocarbon in it instead of ordinary carbon. That carbon dioxide is used by plants in their normal process of photosynthesis and therefore gets incorporated into the tissue of all of the plants on earth, and then gets further incorporated into the tissue of all of the animals that eat the plants, and so on. Radiocarbon dating is based on the fact that when these plants and animals stop taking up radiocarbon from the atmosphere, either directly in the case of plants, or indirectly in the case of animals, the concentration of radiocarbon in those tissues begins to decrease. If we find some old tissue lying around in an archaeological site, an old piece of charcoal or an old animal bone or something of that nature, we can measure the radiocarbon concentration in that tissue and from that we can determine the time elapsed since that particular plant or animal stopped incorporating carbon from its environment. That’s what a radiocarbon age is. It doesn’t give an age of an artefact, for example, directly, but it can tell us when a plant died or an animal died. In that sense, a charcoal date on charcoal found in a fireplace, for example, does not give an age for when that fire was lit, it tells you when the tree from which the charcoal was made died. And one has to keep these things in perspective when analyzing radiocarbon information."

Creation: Youtube Comments - Are dating techniques reliable?

15:18
All dating techniques are based on a variety of assumptions, and some assumptions are quite large. Based on your worldview, you'll make assumptions which aren't necessarily true and likely will greatly skew results. Also, assumptions about constant rates of decay exist, and rates of decay may not be constant at all, not to mention atmospheric events which may interfere and skew results in the item being dated over its time sitting wherever it sits on the earth such as rain water on lava that washes out carbon isotopes causing the lava or rock to look older than it is because fewer carbon isotopes remain to be counted. There are large flaws and assumptions in science and dating and all these need to be weighed to determine where the truth actually lies. American Alcohol Has To Be Radioactive

Of course, "radioactive" is a relative term. Let's talk about carbon dating, about cosmic rays, and about long-dead dinosaurs. (A lot of the research on this one was done for me -- thanks to http://skeptics.stackexchange.com/questions/2605/is-alcohol-for-consumption-tested-for-carbon-14-radioactivity-to-be-considered-l. The standard test is "ASTM D6866", which genuinely uses radiocarbon dating to check for 'biobased content': http://www.astm.org/Standards/D6866.htm ) I'm at http://tomscott.com on Twitter at http://twitter.com/tomscott on Facebook at http://facebook.com/tomscott and on Instagram as @tomscottgo And thanks to YouTube Space London for giving me a last-minute slot in their Secret Garden set!

Calibrating Radiocarbon Dates

01:28
Calibrating Radiocarbon Dates Dr. Erle Nelson, Department of Archaeology, Simon Fraser University "Radiocarbon dating does not measure time in real years; it measures time in a scale we call radiocarbon years. That needs to be really kept in mind at all times - that we are not measuring real time when we measure radiocarbon dates. We’re getting a false scale in that sense. What is amazing, actually, is that the radiocarbon scale works as well as it does for most of the time that we know. It’s not very far off in comparison to real years. But it’s sufficiently far off in a number of circumstances that it causes real troubles in archaeological interpretation. One of the major achievements has been to work out a mechanism by which we can calibrate, or correlate, the radiocarbon time scale together with the calendar years that we are so used to using. That’s been done by radiocarbon dating a very large number of known-age tree rings. That work has taken place on the west coast of North America in Seattle, and in Belfast, Ireland and places like that. From that work we have a global calibration by which we can take a known radiocarbon age and then calibrate it to get from that a real calendrical age."
What Are Radioactive Isotopes? | Chemistry for All | FuseSchool

04:30
Learn the basics about radioactive isotopes. The identity and chemical properties of any atom are determined by the number of protons in its nucleus. As atoms get bigger and heavier, the nuclei get bigger and heavier and the protons need a “nuclear glue” to help hold them together. Neutrons provide this glue and prevent the positive charges of protons from repelling each other, thanks to something called the strong nuclear force. Elements can exist with slightly different numbers of neutrons. We call these isotopes of an element. The number of protons in isotopes of one element will always be the same; this means that the element is unchanged and so will react chemically in exactly the same way. There is often more than one stable isotope of an element. Much of the world around us is made up of stable isotopes. However, sometimes there aren’t enough neutrons in a nucleus or there are too many for it to be stable. Nuclei will try to stabilise themselves. If there are too many protons or too many neutrons, the nucleus can spontaneously rearrange itself and throw out particles in the process. This is essentially what happens in radioactive decay. Isotopes that have unstable nuclei are known as radioactive isotopes or radioisotopes. The more unstable a nucleus, the faster it will try to rearrange itself into a more stable state. This is known as radioactive decay. Radioisotopes are often used in medicine to trace aspects of body chemistry or blood flow. Atoms of radioisotopes can act as “markers”, allowing chemists to follow how a reaction sequence occurs. Radioisotopes are also used in radiotherapy to kill malignant cancer cells. Radiocarbon Dating the Shroud of Turin and Pompeii

04:09
Radiocarbon of Egyptian artefacts shows serious contradictions. We shall once again consider the alleged reliability of the radiocarbon method used for supporting the traditional version of the “ancient” history, particularly Egyptian, as reflected in a fundamental and detailed article published by the Manchester Museum in England in 1979 as part of the project named “The Mummies of the Manchester Museum”. The radiocarbon dating of the mummy from the Manchester Museum collection attributed the mummy’s bones to 1000 b.c., whereas the cloth that the mummy has been wrapped in received the dating of 380 a.d. The discrepancy between the datings of the mummy and the cloth equals some 1400 years, although the dates should be equal. The cloth may be somewhat older than the mummy if an old cloth had been used by the embalmers, but it couldn’t possibly have belonged to a later age. Could the ancient Pompeii really have been a mediaeval Christian town? What do we really know about the destruction of Pompeii except for the vague fragments that lay dormant at the back of our memory ever since those halcyon days when we were taught Roman history in school? The textbooks shall tell us that the pagan city of Pompeii was destroyed by the eruption of 79 AD, which is about the size of it - few of us even bother to remember the date. However, this version contains plenty of inconsistencies which never become reflected in any teaching aids at all, which is hardly surprising considering how little of what really happened is contained in those, and how mind-bogglingly much of what never could have possibly taken place if we are to start trusting our senses for a second, and not the authority of professional historians. For instance, the 15th century author Jacopo Sannazaro mentions himself and his companions "approaching the city of Pompeii when we could already see its towers, houses, theatres and temples untouched by the centuries". In the 15th century? How on Earth could that be possible? Representatives of the venerable historical profession suggest that "towards the 15th century, some of the buildings were already emerging from the debris". Common sense screams at the irrationality of this hypothesis, but such trifles do not bother people who have a job to do, which is keeping all those monstrous chronological tables in order. There are other examples galore that are offered by the actual findings which survived the barbarous excavations of the 16th 17th century - such as a set of surgical instruments containing "some items that have been previously supposed to belong to the modern times, discovered and introduced by the scientific avant-garde of the operative medicine", or numerous graffiti portraying warriors wearing mediaeval helms with visors, or the remains of a Christian tabernacle with a cross on the wall . . . the list goes on, and there is plenty of evidence that suggests that the famous "ancient city of Pompeii" had really been a mediaeval Christian city.
