PlayStation Fanboys keep going ahead and buying their s*** and making their country rich instead of investing in your own country to make them bigger and better I'm sorry Xbox has step their game up and they are going to blow PlayStation out the water
Why can't devs think past the smell of fortune? Why can't they see that being bought can either lead to a big bag of cash at their disposal, ready to be used. Or Microsoft forcing them to release exclusives all day long, tearing them apart -lisa.- I don't want another good company getting ruined by greedy fuxks. I don't want the world to burn more than it's already doing. Why can't we just have nice games?
You know the gaming community are a bunch of hypocrites, couple years ago everyone was saying console exclusives are anti consumer now everyone is saying we need more exclusives.
The only group in the world who are bigger hypocrites is women
If I had my own game studio and it was up for acquisition, I'd like it to be acquired by Microsoft. Though I dont like the platform restrictions. It'll probably be locked in certain regions around the world.
i guess its better for microsoft to have them at least they seem to care about creative freedom and also seem to want to actually make the gaming industry better, meanwhile over at sony they want to keep gaming in the dark ages sure they have some awesome exclusives but nothing else is progressing and they will be fucked in the next few years when consoles die, according to developers like Rockstar, CDPR and ubisoft consoles will be dead/dying after the ps5 era as according to those devs consoles are limited by price and cant keep up with the industry technology, i imagine microsoft saw this happening which is why they have started to move onto pc gaming
All of this shows that the Xbox team at Microsoft have seen what really matters with a console...and that's games. And they're gearing up for the next gen console. We know they have the team to bring in good hardware and networking now if they can bring the games It'll put pressure on Sony. At the very least it'll pressure Sony to seriously consider cross-play across more 3rd party games.
You can't blame the small studios for making deal with bigger companies, because sometimes they have many ideas but don't have funding or people to make it real, just look at Bioware when EA brought them they got more staff and money which led them to create Dragon Age series with the creation of Mass Effect and they also able to create Star Wars Old Republic MMO which is still one of the high budget games spending nearly 250 million dollars which without help of EA won't be possible. And yes big companies do shoddy jobs later but with this their future is secure even if they close the studio they still let the developers work for them on other games.
I fucking hate how low your guy's views have dropped. It's gotta be a bite in the ass to downsize because you're not making enough money, only for your views to drop even further. I hope I don't sound sarcastic, I love you guys. I hope things improve and you're around for a long time. Though I do miss Mike :( was really upset to hear he didn't accept the offer to come back.
depends on if MS has learned anything from sony. if they have and leave the studios to their creativity it would be a boon. obsidian needs money and Microsoft has it.
if they go on like they have in the past, the studio is in danger and MS will only sabotage their own xbox brand further.
What people seem to forget somehow - this is a company, the games are made by PEOPLE.
Chris Avellone and other of the most talented people from Obsidian LEFT. Because of internal politics, toxicity and hiring relatives....
So this is NOT the same Obsidian that made FNV or Pillars....
Well thats where the most money in video game industry has always come from.....selling consoles themselves has never been that profitable, especially for a company such as Microsoft.
If they can pull of what they are trying to do with Xcloud, their "stream and play anywhere, on (almost any device) service, then its even more focused on selling service and games and making money that way. But ofc they are still releasing new traditional console next gen as well.
"Oh yes, the company that now constitutes our bosses are great and giving us complete creative freedom." Hey remember how Maxis said that same shit and claimed that they were the ones that decided to make Simcity Always-Online for totally necessary reasons? Yeah. Somehow I don't believe PR from companies that have been bought out.
Microsoft reminds me of the rich kid in school that has no substance. When he see's another kid succeeding, he tries to imitate him and the only way he knows how is to whip out the cheque book. For 5 years Microsoft did nothing to grow their studios and kept saying things like "single player games are dying" while releasing crap like Sea of Thieves and State of Decay 2 and cancelling games like Scalebound. And now that they see Sony's success they're running around like headless chickens buying studios left and right. I still remember how they purchased Rare and destroyed that company. Microsoft just has no genuine substance.
Let me ask you a question, if streaming gaming work just fine, I will have to subscribe Microsoft streaming service, EA streaming service, bethesda streaming service, Ubsoft streaming service and so on?... Thanks but no thanks, I prefer to buy my console and my game that it's mine and not just rent.
I love this edgy look! I was so excited that her hair, even as short as it is now, was still able to be put into the fun and trendy dutch pigtail braids! Instead of braiding to the ends, I ended them in close together pigtails at the nape of her neck. After I finished braiding, I tugged on the outsides of the braid gently to loosen them and make them a little messy and fun! Since she doesn’t have enough hair to tie around the elastics, I made sure to use elastics that matched her hair so they blend in as much as possible. You could also cover them with clips or bows! A view from the back of her Dutch pigtail braids! A great braid for short hair is a micro accent braid! My biggest tip for braiding short hair would be to add in small slices of hair rather than big ones. I did a small (micro) braid along a slightly curved deep part for anther cute and edgy look! You could also do another one next to it if you wanted a little more to the look, but I really liked how simple this one was. You can see how the part curves a little better from this view of the back. I ended the braid close to the head with an elastic that matched her hair. For our fourth style, we did a 3/4 french braid! Super simple but also super cute! You could do any type braid! It would also look cute using a Dutch braid or a fishtail braid! I loved the side view of this braid! I will for sure be doing this one next time she goes to gymnastics or swimming, whichever comes first! Our last braid is two four dutch lace braids into two loops in the back. Start off by parting the hair down the middle. On each side of the part, do a dutch lace braid, adding hair in from only the section closest to the part as you braid. Tie the braids together in the back with a small elastic and before you pull the hair all the way through to make a ponytail, leave it in a cute little loop! If the hair is a little bit longer, you could do a tiny bun. Repeat this directly under the braid you just did so you have two rows and two loops.
We will have to be coming up with lots more short hair braids in the future, so be sure to give us a follow over at our newly redesigned blog Abella’s Braids to see more as we do them!
Thanks for reading! See you again this time next month!
love these ideas! My daughter recently cut about 8 inches off her hair and is loving her shorter hair, but I’ve mostly been at a loss of what to do with it! Thanks!
Abella has been begging me for at least a year, probably closer to two years, to cut her hair. I posted a photo on Instagram with a question in the caption. “Abella has been begging me to cut her hair short, do you think I should let her do it?” Almost everyone said “YES!” So thanks to all of the good advice from my followers, we did it…and we haven’t regretted it for a second! I think she looks so cute and it really fits her personality! It’s for sure a lot harder to come up with braids but it’s pushed me to step out of my comfort zone! We wanted to show you that even if you have short hair, there are lots of cute braids you can still do!
This first braid (above) is three ladder braids. Start out with a part deep to one side. On the side with less hair, start out by doing a waterfall braid along the part. Under that one, do another waterfall braid, but incorporate the waterfall pieces from the one above it as you braid. Under that one, do a french braid. Incorporate the waterfall pieces from the second braid as you go. We braided each one to the ends and used elastics that matched her hair to tie them off.
