What size are your scarves?!
Dimitra (1 month ago)
I'm ok with doing two first but last one is hard when you have longer hair than your's. They get heavy.

I used to have hair past my waist, and the way I did it was this. 1) Brush all hair smoothly to the nape of your neck as if you're making a very low ponytail at the very base of your head. 2) Twist all of your hair at the nape of your neck very tightly, all the way down the length of your hair. 3) Pull your twisted rope of hair straight up over your head and gently push the hairs near the base of the rope up along the back of your head where you want the chignon to be. This will make the smooth final shape of your chignon. 4) Keep your twisted rope of hair tight so it begins to roll into itself. Neatly tuck the rest of this length of hair rope under your chignon to give it volume in the back. 5) Pin the smooth chignon over the pile of hair, hairspray it, and you're all set.

Interesting video! I'm not one for wearing head scarves, but I like the vintage hairdos. However, that last one, which we call "chignon banane" in French, I have never managed to succeed in doing, haha! I hope your video will help me achievethe look, as I find this particular hairstyle so elegant.
Mega Boo (10 months ago)
Where do you get your scarfs?! I can't find anything besides bandanas by me 😞
Mega Boo (10 months ago)
@MissBeeTown thank you(: I'll have to hit up some thrift shops!😁
MissBeeTown (10 months ago)
I've picked my up oveer the years, all from vintage and thrift stores in giant baskets full of scarves. I find almost every second hand and vintage store has a big basket of scarves near the register.
Marcia (10 months ago)
Oh! thats how you tie a large scarf on your head!! Now I know why this damned thing always comes off😂 Thankyou for this step by step as I have never watched anyone do it. You really do learn new things everyday😄😄

Thank you for this video. It rains half of the year in my country and it is very diffucult to style my hair. These are very cute and easy to do hairstyles.
MissBeeTown (1 year ago)

Thanks for the encouragement! I will be adding a bunch more this month! Definitely rock the headscarves, they're so convenient for busy and lazy days. Loved checking out your channel btw -- you have a beautiful voice! xxx

I used victory rolls when I was in the military in Germany. I was at a NATO HQ so I had to keep my hair nice. It worked really nice with the military hat.
AnaO.Art (2 years ago)

MissBeeTown (2 years ago)

Linellin Rivaille-Nightray try tying into into a looped ponytail (so it's half as long) loosen the tie 2/3 of the way down the length of your hair, and then roll it up.
KittenOnACloud (2 years ago)
Hoping you're okay what with all the political things going on in France Miss Bee. Look after yourself and Val. x

Nice hair style...

your eyes, especially when you smile, remind me so much of Ava Gardner's.
Kendra veganbombshell (2 years ago)
I've never seen the 2nd way of wearing a scarf but I love it! Very 1940's. I recently bought a few vintage style bonnets from a company called The Bonnit. Very cute retro designs to keep our vintage hair dry in the rain. ⛆
Nusch Bos (2 years ago)
Loved it ... Going to practise
KittenOnACloud (2 years ago)
All three are gorgeous. :) I bought two headscarves recently which are 70cm x 70cm which were of the larger variety that I could find online, so I assumed they were more than big enough. Either they're not or I just have a huge head, LOL. Could you let me know the dimensions of yours in the video MB? Also where do you find such pretty patterned scarves? I've searched 'head scarf' and 'square neck scarf' among others but the results are always very plain, like single colour scarves.
EliezaBaby (1 year ago)
Just go in your mom's or grandma's closet . Or best yet go on second hand clothing stores o.r thrift stores .
MissBeeTown (2 years ago)
The second look uses a 70cm scarf but I struggle to do the first look with it. My guess would be the bigger one is roughly 90cm. In terms of finding the scarves. I have zero luck online with scarves. I just pick them up whenever I spot them in op-shops or second hand shops.
