What should I eat before a workout? Today's video highlights the importance of the FUEL, (and not just the food) that should go into your body BEFORE EXERCISING. This "exercise" can be of any form or intensity and the same concepts apply to individuals of any age, sex or fitness levels. These ground rules, personally for me, were what took my workout and overall fitness to the next level. miraclekar abc if you have no other option then go ahead and workout at that time. However, if you can help it exercise earlier in the day because lifting heavy weights just before sleeping will give you a rush of endorphins which will hamper your sleep, which is a very important component of your fitness journey. About nutrition, you can eat an early dinner, and then after your workout you can have a protein shake and some clean carbs.

Manjot Kaur basically it depends on ur goals , if u wanna build muscles u have to have a pre workout meal , but if u wanna loose weight u can do it empty stomach. ..

no. milk products are bad to body in general. try almond or soy milk with oats

Adding milk to coffee does not appreciably change the beneficial effect of coffee consumption. Although casein binds to chlorogenic acid in the gut, the digestive process splits the molecules and the overall effect is the same as if the person had consumed coffee without milk. Interestingly there are problems using coffee creamer instead of milk as you can read in the same link. Watched a couple videos and I disagree with about 80% of the things he says. Ironic that he mentions bro science when his videos are full of it. stop spreading lies, you're making it seem like being healthy is the hardest thing to do in the world.

haha i use to go gym at 5:30am for that i use to wake up at 4:30am and have smoothi. and its ok to workout in fasted state also just have black coffee and you good to go. otherwise have one banana with coffee.

Yes bro oats even have carb which help you give energy but avoid milk it has low disgesting rate.additionaly add coffe before 15 mins to water and drink . Every fitness model does it.

+BeerBiceps For a pre-workout nutrition, would even Whey Protein not be good as it's milk-based? I go to the gym in the morning and have Whey Protein & a banana before workout and Whey Protein immediately after workout too. I'd be glad to know if this is the right practice or not.

Okay. Hi Ranveer. Just finished binge watching all your videos and after shedding over 35kgs over a period of 1-1.5 years, there's still so much I got to learn, so firstly, thank you for that. Just had a few questions (keeping in mind my fitness goal is weight loss) and was wondering if you could help me out. 1) Right alongside people who promote pre-workout eating, there's also a big chunk that believes working out on an empty stomach can work magic. What's your take? 2) I've heard a lot of people say that watermelon is not too great, specially if you're trying to lose weight.On paper, it doesn't make sense to me since watermelon literally just water. Mind clearing this up as well? (Sorry, for the specifically weird question but i'm in LOVE with watermelons :p) I've also been told to avoid bananas. Is that a thing? 3) After, watching all your videos, I know you're very pro-protein shakes. But i've heard a lot of people say that protein shakes are only for people who want to build muscle ,not that they're harmful for people aiming for weight loss, just not extremely essential. Can I consume protein shakes, keeping in mind, my goal is weight loss and if so, can you suggest some not too expensive brands of whey protein powder? I'm sorry if this is too long. Not sorry, because i'll definitely come up with more questions for you very soon (given that you reply to this :p)

+Prachi P Hi Prachi! Firstly, thanks so much for watching. I appreciate anyone watching my videos, but if its a fitness conscious individual, it makes it even better. Before answering your questions, i was hoping to get feedback on some things.  1)Would you rather have me not use the background music? 2)Is the background a bit too plain and would a more natural background be better? I'm asking you because i need the opinion of someone who's watched many of my videos in a go. Would be awesome if you could reply. Also feel free to contact me on my facebook page www.facebook.com/beerbiceps Now coming to your questions. Firstly, feel free to ask a zillion questions. This is my job and even if its the stupidest question, i'm ready to answer it to the best of my abilities. 1)I've been taught this and have experienced this myself - NEVER work out on an empty stomach. There's no scientific proof that working out on an empty stomach helps with fat loss. I'm from a school of fitness where our focus is on strength and functionality. To train for this, we focus on our compound lifts like squat, deadlift, benchpress. I cant perform in the gym with even 50% of my normal intensity if there isn't a good amount of food in my stomach. Even if i'm working out later in the day, if i happened to have missed a meal or two, it affects my lifts. According to me FOOD=HEALTH. 2)Watermelon is what we call a High GI carbohydrate. If you've watched most of my videos, i dont think i need to explain this to you, haha! Not recommended for people who wanna lose weight. And the best (and only) time you should be consuming watermelon (If you HAVE to), ideally, is after a workout, when your body needs sugar for stimulating muscle recovery. 3)As for protein shakes, most people who speak badly about them are the ones who dont know much about them or havent used them long term. I always recommend them to vegetarians, even if they dont gym. Non vegetarians dont require protein supplements because they're already getting a good amount of protein. But in saying that, if any individual WANTS to increase lean muscle mass in their body, protein shakes are recommended. Watch two of my videos for more info on this. +Jamshir Goorabian I personally don't have anything in the middle of my weight training sessions.A bit of water every 20 mins is fine. When you're doing cardio, its a different story. Electrolytes in sports drinks help replenish your body's energy stores. But stay away from them while weight training. It won't make much of a difference.
