As suggested, even today's fastest supercomputers, which crunch trillions of operations per second, carry out only one operation at a single moment in time. Some interesting works out there take the possibilities of quantum computer processing to their logical conclusions. For example, “Evolution of Simulated Universes” discusses the possibility of running computer simulated universes. A series of computer simulated universes could exist that would run yet more computer simulated universes. Basically, this could explain a type of ‘natural selection’ of physical properties from universe to universe.

Or you could, you know, use superconductive wiring, which would be actually useful and practical, and cheaper. And we really don't have any problems that need quantum computing. As superconductivity would do us fine for a few centuries. It's a nice thought though, 😐.

Well, how much information is it going to cost me to be allowed to use one of these computers? Oh every single thing there is to know about me down to the finest detail? Sounds fair enough, I don't know why Microsoft cares so much about the size of my dick and whether I like to finger my butthole or not, but it creeps me the fuck out that they do want to know. (So much that I'd never set foot within a mile of a Microsoft developed quantum computer if I can help it!)
ameunier41 (2 years ago)
Wow that's one of the worst scientific video I've ever seen. (maybe the worse) It look like you asked a kindergarten to do it. There isn't anyone who really understand quantum computing working at Microsoft? And what's this intro? "A sandwich is form when the bread train and the ham train collide at the station restaurant?" I mean, you can literally use that intro for anything.
ameunier41 (2 years ago)
Well, there's à lot of information on YouTube and wiki on that. Some are well made and simple to understand while being really informative. But let's say there is not a lot of people who really understand what quantum computing is. I have some understanding, but I can't say I would know what to do with one.

According to my studies, by having control of the mutation of matter in its various temperatures we can better get the organic movements of the particles, with that the multiple calculations will be more precise, the transfer of energy is done automatically.

Epic reply 😂
Cestarian Inhabitant (2 years ago)
No, because the game would be on the first mission and last mission and all missions between at the same time, you'd have to play through every mission in the game simultaneously and if that won't cause a BSOD I don't know what will.

what the hell did I just watch..? it's something in between a fairy tale for kids and a random GEICO commercial. I can't imagine what the target audience for this video should be.

but will it make windows run without lag?
Cestarian Inhabitant (2 years ago)
+Bigsteelguy4 Of course, of course, but what's your argument if I have an i7, 16GB of RAM and an SSD and it's still lagging? How about if I run the entire thing from a RAMDisk and it still lags? Can it then really be anything other than poorly written OS code? (Because trust me, it still lags under all these conditions) The only thing Windows has going for it is high stability. I would say compatibility, but compatibility is really up to developers and consumers (because devs follow wherever the consumers lead), Windows is not compatible, everything is instead compatible with Windows. And when I say high stability, I really don't mean that Windows is stable when compared to other operating systems, but for the size of it's codebase it certainly is stable and that is pretty much the most (if not the only) commendable part about Windows. It's speed optimizations are trash, and it's not designed to work long-term, it's as if it's deliberately designed to degrade it's own performance the longer you run it, oh and it requires a restart for every single update and nags you about it whereas every other operating system only mentions that you need to restart your system for the updates to kick in and then don't nag you about it (I haven't used OS X so I can't say for sure about them, but every other operating system that is in use today behaves as I just described) As someone said, Windows is just a bad OS... But sadly that same statement is true for every other operating system ever made, Windows is just worse than Linux. It's still better than OS X/MacOS. And while Linux itself as I am implying can indeed be optimized to crazy amounts, the GUI front-ends for it still have a way to go before being 'lag-free', they are often way faster than windows, but not as fast as I'd like. I don't want to wait even a second for any core program in my system.

Windows is just a bad OS
Bigsteelguy4 (2 years ago)
+Cestarian Inhabitant There is many factors that causes lag, it's not always the OS. When you only have 2GB of ram or less in your machines, ofcourse it's going to lag.
Cestarian Inhabitant (2 years ago)
Actually wasn't, there's not a single OS out there I've encountered that has no lag, especially not Windows 10, what a slow piece of trash.
