In my work we use Tobii for ALS users.. it works, but it is not cheap. it is good that you create new solutions, what camera have you testet it on ? and are the "The Eye Tribe" a part of this new tech

Have they tried the Tobii 4c? It's quite a bit cheaper than the others , but I don't know if it's as effective. Also are they using the Windows Eye control? I'm thinking about possibly trying eye tracking.

3 comments are important. 1) Thank you Steve Gleason for spearheading this project! I can't say enough about what you represent for people with ALS and other conditions that impair movement and speech! 2). The eye tracker hardware and devices featured in this commercial are from TobiiDynavox, not from Microsoft. Tobii is the world leader in eye tracking technology and it is exciting to be partnering with Microsoft for this technology! 3). There is a brief shot of a person using their communication device in a moving vehicle. This is not a safe practice and should not be done. In the event of a sudden stop or an accident, all passengers in that vehicle are at risk of further injury should the device come off the wheelchair.

Hello. One of my pupils will get soon a Tobii Dynavox with PCEyePlus. A dream would come true for him, if he could play some Minecraft with it. Is there a possibility to manage this? How about the guys at Mojang? Have they ever thought about something like this? I know, there are not so many kids in the world who will use this, but for sure it will bring them so much fun and creativity.
