How will world look at 2100?To change our future, first we must imagine it... It's an idea that most of us would rather not think about -- that within the next century, life as we know it could come to an end. Our civilization could crumble, leaving only traces of modern human existence behind. It seems outlandish, extreme, even impossible. But according to cutting edge scientific research, its a real possibility -- unless we make drastic changes now.

this is already happening. the vortex in the u.s. the civil war in syria that resulted to displace millions ang going to europe. the super typhoon in the pacific, terrorist attack on peaceful cities, hiv virus, the super bug bacteria, mers cov diseases, the ebola virus that ravage africa. i think no one is safe today! industrialize nation is greedy of thier wealth.
Why do they say that "its 2009" so many times? Like I get it, it's 2009! Just say "today." Stop mentioning the year! Its sounds so desperate to preserve itself in time and want to be watched much later its almost cringy. Like the whole point is to wait until 2100 for the ultimate "I told you so"
They really though oil prices would go up XD They actually got really low, it doesn't matter that oil is running out, as long as it is there, there are enough companies wanting to sell it as quick as possible and since they compete against each other, they make it cheaper. They don't care about the future. We will not change, we will burn up everything until we catch fire.
Money is gonna be our demise cause we put money above anything else including the environment, we will more than likely be responsible for our own demise cause we as humans destroy everything we touch unless mother nature gets us first, there’s that saying you don’t appreciate what you have til it’s gone and we don’t appreciate this beautiful planet we live on and there’s gonna come a day it’s gonna be too late to do so
We produce almost the most C02 out of all of the countries on the planet. Most of our products come from China who are the leading C02 emitters. We should have been a leader with the Paris Climate Agreement, not cop out and say, "WE GIVE UP." I can't have kids unless I adopt because we have reached the 6th Mass Extinction of the planet.
It's funny watching this in 2018! We blame China and India for the collapse of this "summit" but it's the United States that pulled out of the Paris climate agreement. I say it time and time again that a lot of people need to die in order for this planet to get better. Unfortunately however, it's going to be the people at the bottom of the totem pole who don't deserve to die that are going to be the ones that suffer the most.
You know it's legit when you have known pedophile John Podesta doing the opening monologue. This is an unprecedented piece of Agenda 21 propaganda bullshit directed by the Obama Administration back in 2009.
So it’s 2018, the United States pulled out of the Paris Climate Accord, which wasn’t anywhere strong enough and were dumping toxic ash into our rivers. We’re not taxing carbon hardly at all. We’re heading right down this path, and in the end, and if we don’t change soon and radically, it’ll be the worst possible outcomes anyone can imagine. At this point, we deserve what the world gives us.
+dmale79 Only a fool believes that the population is unsustainable and must be culled - it's straight out of the new world order's playbook and you buy right into it. You will be living like a caveman with no technology and fighting among each other while the elites are able to consume all of the planet's resources.
If we don’t, we’re doomed. Whether it’s 2100 or 2300, earth can’t sustain humankind the way it is. We certainly can’t sustain the population and since both sides are unwilling to ban procreation I guess we just have to let more ppl die off. But neither side will let that happen. First to go should be rapists and pedos. Then drug addicts and murderers and the like. Anyone that hurts other, kill them all. Why are we feeding them??????
We need to get rid of cars and personal computers, air conditioners, cell phones, warehouses, paper mills and just about everything destroying earth. We need to go back to a simpler time. Tear down the sky scrapers. Demolish every last Bldg and make huts
As a professor of geography and history, I disagree. They got the peak oil part wrong, because they weren't counting on the rise of fracking after 2009. The rest, however, still seems extremely plausible. To me, this is one of the best plausible depictions of what is coming, given that it is unlikely that we will avoid 2-degree C or even greater warming. And yes, antibiotics are going to go away in about 20 years. I think this imagined future is pretty close to what will go down, at least here in the US. Of course, that presumes that North America's rich resources will not spark a resource war once things get extremely scarce.
True we can't say with 100% certainty what will happen in the year 2100 however we do know how much damage we have done to this planet in the last 100 years. Advancements in technology will help only if we have the sense and morality to use it properly. With the advancement of technology there will without a doubt be stronger weapons that we couldn't even imagine today and countless ne weaknesses will appear in the world of the future. Look after the planet because if we abuse it too much we may hit a point of no return.
Hmmmmm..... so if people watching this in 2009 or 2010, they were probably born either the late 1970's, throughout the 1980's or even the 1990's probably watched this documentary will die around the 2050's or 2060's......maybe the 2070's. For people like me tho, who were born in the 2000's for example (like me who was born around 2005), will probably die in the 2080's or the early 2090's.....Younger viewers or who were born 2010- will probably die from 2085-mid 2090. People who are not born yet and was born from 2020- they will likely die in the 2090's or 2100's. So if that disease comes around 2081-2084 then I will most likely be dead or dying or maybe I might die from it?
Note I'm not saying you or me will die from old age, we possibly don't know......
God dang it if the video says she is the oldest woman on earth who was born in 2009, that means me and my sister would be dead by 2100 oh no.........she was born in 2008, a year before 2009. I always predicted she would be the oldest woman on earth someday......
hahahaha!!! Yeah, right. You're the idiot who drank the Kool Aid. It's all part of the global agenda to reduce the population. Bill Gates is even on youtube saying so. Move on, nothing to see here. Oh, but wait, there IS something to see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WQtRI7A064 Here are a few facts for you. If carbon dioxide IS causing global warming, there is a very simple solution....plant for trees and other plants! Problem solved. Give tax breaks to people who plant trees in their yards instead of having lawns. Have they attempted anything like this? Of course not because it's all a lie. As a biology major in college, I find all this crap very insulting to my intelligence and so should anyone else who can see through the BS. None of these idiots like Bill Gates understand anything about ecology. When the population gets too high, nature will react appropriately. There will be a pandemic or something like that which will bring the human population down NATURALLY and all will be in balance again. Stop the fear-mongering and let nature take its course.
Type in climate change into google. These are the results right now: "Should we Dim the Skies to Save the World?" "Global warming could mean crop losses from insect damage double by 2050" "Nasa Discovers Bubbling Lakes in the Remote Arctic- A Sign of Global warming" We Are fucked
I'm 25 now. I won't live to see 2100, but I'll certainly live long enough to be dealing with the opening stages of Eaarth. The capitalist class is structurally paralyzed, unable to stop burning fossil fuels. Fossil fuel capitalism is dying. Ecosocialism or barbarism!!
These comments are idiotic. I am living and seeing people dying in droves from heat stroke and even people in Scandinavia are sitting in grocery stores because their homes weren't made for 90 degree weather! Open your eyes people
Exactly! That's just it, for me, too! How can people just keep going about business as usual? It's insane. It's also the reason why we're screwed. I chose this docu-drama to show in my class on climate change precisely because it was made in 2009 and questioned the "business as usual" problem. It's clear now that we are really screwed, and we need to start getting ready for the impending catastrophes. Learn how to grow food; learn how to shoot a gun with accuracy; and learn to play a musical instrument to build community. That's the future we have ahead of us.
Thanks, This is real if we don´t put attention to the changes of our earth now. I´m sad, for futures generations. the next war is for water. Today, you must take care your familly, your self, for each human, that stay side by side, enjoy with each thing, love. You must respect your liberty and the liberty of others.
Sorry, Kitten, but our climate models are pretty good these days. Indeed, the "world" will hold up, but not necessarily with ecosystems that can sustain 8 billion people. Regardless, there will be a sixth mass extinction (about 50% of species lost), and many humans will die from famine and disease (I predict in the billions by 2080). The "world" will be okay; the biosphere will not.
Following Trump's announcement to withdraw from agreement, the governors of several U.S. states formed the United States Climate Alliance to continue to advance the objectives of the Paris Agreement at the state level despite the federal withdrawal. As of January 23, 2019, 17 USA states and Puerto Rico have joined the alliance, and similar commitments have also been expressed by other state governors, mayors, and businesses.
Even better, China is enforcing a certain rate of electric cars and they are building massive amounts of solar panels. There is a huge city in China where people are creating new technology and repairing old ones. While in the West we just throw away our old devices, their government gives people the freedom to build up repair shops that can repair things the big companies don't want you to repair. They also enforce driving bans in some cases and they don't let their population reproduce as much as they want. The one child policy led to other problems, but the two child policy would be a good rule for the whole planet. Meanwhile, the West is not moving at all and countries like India and the whole continent of Africa are still doubling their population with every generation.
I'm now up to 2070 in the video, only to find I passed away almost a year ago. It was my 100th birthday and I was just over one minute into it when I passed. But I made it to 100, something not many can lay claim to. I credit it to being a non smoker.
Like the video says...to have a future, you must first vision it. That's the problem, everyone has a different vision of their ideological world. Who says this world will happen, who says it will even exist in 2100. Unless we remove the globalist elitist jerk movement and start repairing this planet...there might not be a future for anyone, let alone grand-kids.
Yeah It's a Shame All those GREEN ENERGY things are Made Out of OIL (Petroleum) Products.
Oh! and Your Clothes, and your foods, and your plastics, and you... WELL Almost EVERYTHING is Made from OIL... So What Now *SCIENTISM?*
I love this edgy look! I was so excited that her hair, even as short as it is now, was still able to be put into the fun and trendy dutch pigtail braids! Instead of braiding to the ends, I ended them in close together pigtails at the nape of her neck. After I finished braiding, I tugged on the outsides of the braid gently to loosen them and make them a little messy and fun! Since she doesn’t have enough hair to tie around the elastics, I made sure to use elastics that matched her hair so they blend in as much as possible. You could also cover them with clips or bows! A view from the back of her Dutch pigtail braids! A great braid for short hair is a micro accent braid! My biggest tip for braiding short hair would be to add in small slices of hair rather than big ones. I did a small (micro) braid along a slightly curved deep part for anther cute and edgy look! You could also do another one next to it if you wanted a little more to the look, but I really liked how simple this one was. You can see how the part curves a little better from this view of the back. I ended the braid close to the head with an elastic that matched her hair. For our fourth style, we did a 3/4 french braid! Super simple but also super cute! You could do any type braid! It would also look cute using a Dutch braid or a fishtail braid! I loved the side view of this braid! I will for sure be doing this one next time she goes to gymnastics or swimming, whichever comes first! Our last braid is two four dutch lace braids into two loops in the back. Start off by parting the hair down the middle. On each side of the part, do a dutch lace braid, adding hair in from only the section closest to the part as you braid. Tie the braids together in the back with a small elastic and before you pull the hair all the way through to make a ponytail, leave it in a cute little loop! If the hair is a little bit longer, you could do a tiny bun. Repeat this directly under the braid you just did so you have two rows and two loops.
We will have to be coming up with lots more short hair braids in the future, so be sure to give us a follow over at our newly redesigned blog Abella’s Braids to see more as we do them!
Thanks for reading! See you again this time next month!
love these ideas! My daughter recently cut about 8 inches off her hair and is loving her shorter hair, but I’ve mostly been at a loss of what to do with it! Thanks!
Abella has been begging me for at least a year, probably closer to two years, to cut her hair. I posted a photo on Instagram with a question in the caption. “Abella has been begging me to cut her hair short, do you think I should let her do it?” Almost everyone said “YES!” So thanks to all of the good advice from my followers, we did it…and we haven’t regretted it for a second! I think she looks so cute and it really fits her personality! It’s for sure a lot harder to come up with braids but it’s pushed me to step out of my comfort zone! We wanted to show you that even if you have short hair, there are lots of cute braids you can still do!
This first braid (above) is three ladder braids. Start out with a part deep to one side. On the side with less hair, start out by doing a waterfall braid along the part. Under that one, do another waterfall braid, but incorporate the waterfall pieces from the one above it as you braid. Under that one, do a french braid. Incorporate the waterfall pieces from the second braid as you go. We braided each one to the ends and used elastics that matched her hair to tie them off.
