Boys we need to take out meteors not game this Is why no one likes nasa
Very cool. When my father worked for Atari in 1974 -1986, he told me that they were working on a headset that would let you control your game using muscle sensors, which he also stated that the U.S AirForce wanted the technology for use in fighter jets.

Just saw the ad for this. Awesome!

And now the xbox supports the use of Wii Nunchuck! This reminds me of the NES controller for disabled people, you know, the one you could control without the use of your hands.

I can't imagine being anything but insanely anxious sitting next to the CEO and trying to adequately explain the product in question.

Microsoft cares about ALL their gamers which is why Xbox is better than PlayStation
teargray wolf (17 days ago)
This is flat-out the best thing any game company has ever come out with four kids who have disabilities I have to say I am happy that a game company has actually made a controller for kids who have abilities like this to actually game with kids who don't have a disability to make it fair to make it honestly the same for some that don't have the capability of doing what others can do I would be happy to back something like this up and I hope as a Sony PlayStation person that PlayStation make something like this to this is an incredible controller and I think it changes so much of the gaming community making it fair for others to play at the same level as regular people do
Water Jr (17 days ago)
PS4 does not have this Xbox is way better

First of all THIS IS AWESOME!! What you guys are doing. However, I am have been programming and building computers since 1985 on a commadore 64 and apple IIe. I say this because since the revolution, or commonality, of the personal computer I have been disheartened that everyone (especially the industry) thought that all computers had to look and function the same. we were locked in to these lame interface designs. You all have broken the mold for a good purpose. Bout time!!:)

This is an amazing idea. I think that even if you were born as a normal person, you could have a lot of fun with copilot. I just think it’s really fun idea for anyone.
DARLEEN RIVERA (18 days ago)
It kinda looks like a dj pad! A kid who needs to use that can say, “I’m a DJ gamer!” 😂😂😂 (I’m not trying to be offensive.)

This is truly a good deed on Microsoft’s part. They care about ALL gamers.

This is why xbox (microsoft) is better than playstation (sony) because kids can know game without having a hard time controlling it
PokemonGuySun (14 days ago)
While I disagree that this makes the console any better in general, it is certainly nice to make something like this for disabled people. The thing is that if you aren't disabled, this will not change anything for you.

Man I thought of this years ago playing animal crossing for Wii my son controlled the thumb stick and I tell him where to go while I performed the actions with the other controller. Which may I say Wii has the hardest games to control it is not kid friendly.
DoctorSargeMD (19 days ago)
When this controller goes into full swing and people start getting used to the controllers, I wonder if they will have some sort of "special e-sports", kind of like having a special olympics, where people with limited mobility would compete.
Corsair Riker (4 days ago)
+L Vega While I completely understand your point - you could try being a little nicer about it. Sure, he definitely used the wrong terminology, but is that any reason for personal attacks? It could've simply been an honest mistake. Let's try to keep it civil, inclusive and cooperative.
Zach Darby (15 days ago)
@L Vega Thanks for agreeing
L Vega (16 days ago)
DoctorSarge MD: Ouch! Did you know that the Special Olympics is for those who are mentally challenged? Not for those with limited mobility and physical impairments. I agree with the last commenter who said it would be closer to the Paralympics, which is for those with limited mobility. Did you go to medical school in the Caribbean?
Zach Darby (18 days ago)
DoctorSargeMD Like Paralympics but digital? That’d be great.
World Record Egg (19 days ago)
DoctorSargeMD that would be cool

Microsoft please make some better xbox exclusives...ps4 aint playn
Sean Dring (1 month ago)
I've been asking for this product since 1999 when I lost an arm. While it's good that it has been brought to market, don't think that this is all about MSFT being a good citizen. They did this because they see it as a way to increase revenue. I find it sickening that they pat themselves on the back for this controller and conveniently forget about the years they they ignored their disabled users requests. There's an old saying that "You can tell the character of a man by the way they treat people who mean nothing to them" and Microsoft does not even come close to meeting this bar.
yugurtz (14 days ago)
In the end, is a business. They have to make money first and if they're able to spare some philanthropy and create a market at the same time..everyone wins.
tom hill (15 days ago)
+World Record Egg XBOX is MIcrosoft Owned. Microsoft has been around farrrrr Longer. Microsoft has made Gaming controllers for YEARSSSS. What he is referring to is the fact that they have had the technology and capital to do such an endeavor. Products like this have been asked for by people with disabilities for years and it is no secret Microsoft is most definitely GREEDY. Making Money does not mean you are greedy, but this product is most definitely capitalizing on the general public now being more acceptive and understanding of those with disabilities. They could of and should of done this long ago, back in the early 2000's. These devices have already been marketed by other tech companies that were far smaller and had access to far less capital to invest or market. So, gtfo with defense initiative on these pieces of shit.
Brandon Nguyen (17 days ago)
Everyone needs money. Even people who assist disabled people get paid because it’s they’re job. It doesn’t mean they’re greedy. So you can’t really call Microsoft greedy just because they created this.
David Tong (18 days ago)
Damn if you do, damn if you don't society.
World Record Egg (19 days ago)
Sean Dring wow so just because it took them awhile means they’re doing it for money? Xbox hasn’t even been around for that long LMAO so you should be attacking other companies like PS for being around for twenty years and not even making a controller for people who have disabilities go attack another company
Bring back the exclusives!!! Satya you destroyed the xbox!!

You are awesome Microsoft. My nephew has Cerebral Palsy and has difficulty sometime managing the controller. This can make a difference. Thanks for this...and also my Bad ass XBOX 1X.
Scott Sharak Vlogs (3 months ago)
I got one too and I love it, I can now use the left trigger on the controller through the adaptive controller using the pedal that I use for like call of duty or any shooting games and Forza games I use the numchuck controller. Can’t wait to try it on other games.

Good to see a company do good for disabled people. brillent even down to the packaging
TheVoxxification (3 months ago)
Please put this up on more markets so it can be more noticeable. This should be huge news but because people can only see it through your website the only people hearing about it are people who already know about it. Parents need to see this, family and friends need to see this. not just microsoft followers. Please do not doom this to just a niche peripheral that becomes a collectors item a few years down the line. this needs to be available everywhere.
Wahl Flower (18 days ago)
Don't worry, Microsoft's Super Bowl ad was focused on their Adaptive Controller. :)

0:28 - Dude, that is literally the Wii Nunchuk there!!!! No jokes, look! lol Why did they not spruik the point that other brand peripherals such as that Nintendo Wii Nunchuk would work with this setup!!!???
Todd L-M (3 months ago)
Defensive Wounds well, they can’t just copy Nintendo and a nunchuck controller would have required more force to press the buttons and move the joystick
Only Microsoft!
