You should talk about accessories and backpacks, bags, etc. things that go along with outfits etc when traveling
arturo balvino (1 year ago)
Real Men Real Style I don't have a lot of money. Which one would you recommend me? Mott or Bow?
chunjui hsu (4 months ago)
I watch your video not for style but for how to talk like a businessmen
Inspir3d (6 months ago)
A button down is not necessarily casual. There are great button down dress shirts made from fine fabric that go well with suits.
GorcStew (6 months ago)
The oxfords I've had so far are all lint magnets so it discourages me from wearing them. I always wondered if it's the way they're weaved/the fabric...or is it just because I bought garbage quality shirts? lol
Harry Eaton (6 months ago)
The best thing about an Oxford is how it is an instant upgrade from a t-shirt, wear it with sleeves rolled and you have the casual style that is still way more sharp than simply going for a t-shirt.
Will The Mediterranean (7 months ago)
I love my Ralph Lauren oxfords. I wear them the most when I go out. And they’re a fantastic business casual shirt for work! Double bonus!

Oxfords are a staple. They’re simple, versatile, and classic. You can dress it up with a blazer or down with a bomber. Best shirt ever.

Love all of the fits. I love to wear my Oxford with a nice cardigan or a nice golfer's jacket. A very versatile shirt and a must have in a man's wardrobe. Great video as always.

I'm a subscriber. I reaally like this channel. More power to RMRS. From the Man from Manila.

$89??? Seriously.
TheStupidcomment (1 year ago)
I'm a big fan of an Oxford with a thin V-neck sweater, especially when the colder weather comes around. Has the same effect of wearing a thicker jumper, but looks much better.
James Alcorn (1 year ago)
Great video, I'd always thought the button-down collar defined an Oxford Shirt. I learned something today
Abdul majid (1 year ago)
Today i learned what is an oxford shirt :D
Shubham Goyal (1 year ago)
Antonio please make a video on pocket watches
Alvaro Mejia (1 year ago)
what is a casual suit?
Nice Trade (1 year ago)
Monsieur Christian Dior & Monsieur Yves St Laurent. always wore button down oxford shirts, so thats what i do, they just seem more classy than regular dress shirts
Imtiaz Farooq (1 year ago)
I think ‘simple’ does it best for me. Light coloured oxford w/ dark denim or chino and dark oxford’s with grey or brown jeans/chinos. For footwear I don’t think black works. I’ve always worn brown shoes or blue suede (if feeling a little adventurous)
Kurt V (1 year ago)

I love oxfords.

Hey Antonio,I have two short questions. Aren t button down collar dress shirts oxford shirts?AndDo we tuck the casual oxford shirts in? Their fabric is noticably thicker so i feel that my mid section looks bulky.

OFF THE SCALE!! You're always so informative in your videos. You give such in depth knowledge. The details are everything. That is the science and mechanics of fashion .....the esssence. Can't thank you enough!! THANK YOU ANTONIO!!!

I am facing a situation and I hope you can help me out. I work in an environment that requires steel toe shoes and a high-visibility vest. I'm having trouble looking confident while still having to abide by the safety rules.
Gray Fox1950 (1 year ago)
Site pretty expensive lol I shop at American eagle but I do enjoy your videos
Sean (1 year ago)
I'm having trouble finding the right shirts. With my arms down, the bottom sits right where it should, but when i lift my arms up, you can see skin. My pants are sitting naturally at my hips so they aren't low. If i bought a longer shirt, it would be too long with my arms down.
Noe Cazares (1 year ago)
I remember watching the movie Heat and specificaly wanting to dress like Robert Deniro. He had a black cadillac el dorado which is why I drive a coupe myself. Also the grey sportscoat white dress shirt and nice shades.
MC_ Sea (1 year ago)
Thanks for clarifying the difference between the two. It can be hard to tell whether the fabric is basket weave or not but I'm sure I'll be able to tell over time.
MC_ Sea (1 year ago)
I would combine a white Oxford shirt with dark coloured oxford shoes, a navy wool V-neck sweater, plain black belt, and grey plain trousers.
Real Men Real Style (1 year ago)
Great to hear! What would you combine with an Oxford shirt?
Asif Shadab Malick (1 year ago)
tbh, this is the forst time i heard of these terms: oxford shirt, trucker jacket, moto jacket, corduroy etc. would you please make videos for absolute dummies like me explaining these basics? although i did understand a lot about oxford shirts, because you explain well. please make videos comparing and explaining different kinds of shirts, different kinds of boots, jackets, suits and so on. also, please make mention of brands which are available internationally. what do have to say about brands like Raymond? its the most renowned for men's clothing in my part of the world. thanks again for the video!!
Real Men Real Style (1 year ago)
Asif - I talked about it in previous videos. You can check the website: https://www.realmenrealstyle.com/ :)

I have a mint green and pink Oxford and my favorite way to wear them are with navy shorts, tucked in with a brown belt and brown boat shoes and wayfarers👌🏼casual, breathable and still super fresh. One of my go-to outfits in the summer
Real Men Real Style (1 year ago)
I like that go-to summer outfit!
Boozy McHound (1 year ago)
Some of us are 'spring' color palettes and living in FL means I don't have a lot of jacket options. Layering is often a recipe for disaster. Oxfords as outerwear are a staple, but I push way more towards lighter colors (than the army green you mentioned). Lots of rolled sleeves, open second buttons, and such. Far more chinos and shorts and shoes that straddle the line of athletic and business (so leather sneakers often in grey).
Dhiraj Darlami (1 year ago)

Light blue oxford (untucked with a black or dark blue faded jeans) with a dark blue sweater (round neck) and black leather jacket worked really, really well for me. I prefer black shoes with this getup.
Real Men Real Style (1 year ago)
This combo works too!

Would you recommend these shirts with light denim jeans?

I’m 6’6 284 pounds and in a high school senior with not much money. Where can I shop to find good clothing like the stuff in this video. I also wear a size 17/18 (US) shoe and I want to buy boots and loafers and different shoes but I don’t know where to shop
Real Men Real Style (1 year ago)
That's true!
Alex 1611 (1 year ago)
You can find really good deals on good brands by looking on eBay. No joke.
Caleb Gallegos (1 year ago)
frederick jones thrift shops are good place to start. They take a little more time to find what you want you have to keep at it
chrisstevens2 (1 year ago)
May be interesting to see a comment in your videos about mixing Blue and Green. I've always heard they should only be mixed in the washer (or dry cleaner in this case) never worn together.
Real Men Real Style (1 year ago)
Contrast is key! I would suggest to use a color wheel :) Also make sure it coordinates with your contrast.
Alex 1611 (1 year ago)
It tends to look the best if it is a light blue and dark green.
luke winston (1 year ago)
Hey there Antonio, I need a hand... Right, I'm super pale, like, ghostly, what colours would work for me? (P.S Tally ho from England!)

Ken Ruan (1 year ago)
Definitely an Obama fan. #yesyoucan
Abid Aslam (1 year ago)
Antonio big fan love your your videos. However in terms of your style I do think you dress maybe a little too old for your age, I honestly do think you can dress a little younger maybe, perhaps bring in some colour with flannel or maybe a more youthul style if that makes sense.
An Sung (9 months ago)
He had reveiled that he is 40+ yo, married and has kids. Semi-formal make sense to build a successful man image, imo.
Rocky Rojas (1 year ago)
Hey Anthony. Love your videos. I have a question that you might be able to help me with. Are creases on the dress pants of suits used anymore ?
Rocky Rojas (1 year ago)
Thank you. But I was talking about the crease that runs down the middle of the pant legs. The crease you make with the iron.
Real Men Real Style (1 year ago)
Rocky - Yes! Hope this helps: https://www.realmenrealstyle.com/men-cuff-pants/
Thanks Antonio for recommending Mott&Bow. I switched to their jeans over a year ago and never looked back. I'm excited to try their Oxfords.

Antonio how long are you shoulders? I wanted to know because am 18inchs across and wanted to know if there shirts would fit me.
Alex 1611 (1 year ago)
Honestly, you would probably be better off going to Deo Veritas and creating your own shirt with your custom measurements. You might pay another 15 bucks or so, but you get a perfectly fitting shirt without the hassle of going to a tailor. Discount code FIRST20 should save you some money as well.

Did anyone else see that Chelsea boot come outta nowhere at 6:44!?!?!? I always knew Antonio was a fashion wizard.
Anthony Johnson (1 year ago)
Was just out at Boston Store the other day buying two white dress shirts; following Antonio's advice to do that. I bought them, and then saw this more textured or weave style white shirt just a few feet away. I see now that style must have been an Oxford. It seemed more casual....but I liked it. Maybe I'll pick one up in the near future. I think a light blue slim fit Oxford shirt with dark blue jeans and chukka boots, or loafers would be a very good mix, along with 1 small piece of men's jewelry, and a watch to top off the outfit, would be a nice combination. That weaved texture would bring more visual power to the shirt, as opposed to a shirt without it, I feel.
Real Men Real Style (1 year ago)
Agreed - the combo works for me.
Cam (1 year ago)
Anyone here have an opinion of corduroy pants? I think they are the warmest and most comfortable pants one can wear. When the weather gets serious, jeans and khakis/chino's suck at insulating.
Real Men Real Style (1 year ago)
Perfect for this season!
Cam cords are rad. I have a awesome pair by Façonnable in black and flat front they rock, have a dark forest green pleates pair by Ralph Lauren with brass hook instead of a button at waist and sewn in waistband buttons for braces, totally versatile and cord sport coats are cool too, i would not wear cord trousers w a cord coat though 👍
Zachary Silk (1 year ago)
Either with a shawl collar cardigan/ leather jacket and chelsea boots. Speaking of the latter Antonio do you happen to know where they are from, the brown pair you featured in the video.
Pedro Brenes (1 year ago)
Hey Antonio, a question, what length should the oxford shirt be in order to be able to be used untucked?
Real Men Real Style (1 year ago)
As a basic rule of thumb, if it doesn’t fall to at least your belt, the shirt is too short. Move the wrong way and it’s going to flash your belly at everyone.
Jonathan Fisher (1 year ago)
Oxfords vs button downs? I like more colorful shirts oxfords are good but kinda plain
Real Men Real Style (1 year ago)
Pairing it with a great jacket and trousers will make your outfit stand out.
Daniel Matos (1 year ago)
Hey Antonio! would a oxford fabric shirt with oxford style shoes does it work? or to many oxford in the mix?
Daniel Matos (1 year ago)
Thanks Antonio :)
Real Men Real Style (1 year ago)
Choose derbys instead of oxfords to avoid looking too formal.
jacques alexander IV (1 year ago)
So I'm curious can you do like a Timberland boot or like a work boot I like the the outfit that James the shirt maybe not so much some of the jacket and I could see a dress shoe with some of the jackets but I'm not like the lace-up boots I'm not ready for that yet so would it be possible to do like a really casual work style boot like the like the suede Timberland or something like that
jacques alexander IV (1 year ago)
Real Men Real Style thank you
Real Men Real Style (1 year ago)
If you’re planning to wear work boots you need a wide, rugged work belt (about 2 inches wide).

MightySavagE (1 year ago)
So it gives you more versatility because it's weaved differently? Please. "Not technically" formal", but practically yes. It's hardly casual if you have the formal-styled one; you can only spot the difference between the Oxford and a regular shirt up close. To me that sort of weave feels great on the skin, adds character to your outfit and can be easily worn with a suit to all but the most formal occasions (no button-downs ofc, pockets hardly matter, especially with a suit).
Aienbalos Aienbalos (1 year ago)
MightySavagE depends on the size of the weave i think. I've seen some oxfords which you can clearly see are some sort of woven material from talking distance, maybe up to 2 meters away

I recently streamlined my wardrobe quite a bit keeping a few white dress shirts, some white oxford shirts and some blue chambray shirts and took out a lot of patterned shirts (I got them put away for now and might give them away down the line). So why did I keep my oxford shirts? Simply because I love them due to them being a more casual option that still can be as you showed dressed up or down. I wear them a lot in a more casual setting with a tie or even bow tie, in the summer they are a great option I think.
Real Men Real Style (1 year ago)
Great seeing you here Rasmus!
Jason Ackerman (1 year ago)
Hey Antonio, I wear a bow tie everyday (I know I'm not I in my profile pic) and I've noticed some of my shirts' collars tend to bunch up around the bow and some are just fine. What kinds of collars should I be looking for when buying a shirt to wear with a bowtie?
Real Men Real Style (1 year ago)
Jason - Sounds like another video we should create :) Check this out: https://www.styleforum.net/threads/what-types-of-shirts-with-bow-ties.77258/
NicholasToras01 (1 year ago)
I'm now more confused about the difference between an Oxford dress shirt and a dress shirt. Before a Knew a dress shirt had no pockets and was called an oxford. This videos was a great help in the details of an oxford don't get me wrong. But now I have to reword what I call and oxford now.
Real Men Real Style (1 year ago)
Nicholas - I go into more detail in the article: https://www.realmenrealstyle.com/how-wear-oxford-shirt/

Real Men Real Style (1 year ago)
Hey StarlingGaming!
LittleShaun Hughes (1 year ago)
I never knew the "Oxford" was a special weave. It appeals to my taste very well. I bought one of the last "Heart" factory (Fredericton NB Canada) "Oxford" dress shoes made many years ago so I just assumed that it was a bit more expensive style with the same kind of fabric. I have very large forearms compared to my upper arms and it is next to impossible ( I can't remember the last time I found anything that fit right) to find a dress shirt or even a work shirt that fits my body (it's big too) is there ANY dress shirts at all that I can buy off the rack with extra large forearms? I am, at last measure, 6'4" tall 18" biceps, 15" forearms, 7.5-8" wrist, 60" chest, 59" belly, shoulder over 20" (difficult to measure. I got 24 at the time [may have been less. seems awful wide] but is less now for sure), 19-20" neck, 48" waist, 50"+ butt, 34" inseam, Size 15 modern shoe size. (Why do they keep changing the standard?). At 8:05, I love those dress boots. What are they called? Are they common? If not where could I get a pair?
René Márquez (1 year ago)
Well, I have one light blue oxford shirt, but didn't realize that until this video, guess I know better how to use it, but I often wear it with my jeans. I am in México and for the last two months there was no need for jacket but I have a black leather jacket, that will be great to wear it.
Real Men Real Style (1 year ago)
These five ways can definitely help you how to rock it.
Stephen Phillips (1 year ago)
Where did you get that brown leather jacket at 7:00? That thing is sexy.
Zain Noor (1 year ago)
Amazing video Antonio. Oxfords look great on you. Can you make a video about university student dressing. It is also a very important point for style and grooming for a man in his life. I hope that you will consider it.
Revan chist (1 year ago)
Thanks Antonio! I was actually wondering what the difference was the other day after hearing you mention Oxfords in another video. I liked the outfit with light blue oxford, jeans, boots and sweater. Really liked what you were doing with the dark blue too. So how much of the style plays into the shirt being an oxford? Is it literally just the fabric/weave? Do you find the button-down collars on actual dress shirts as well? Also, do you have an infographic on shirt styles? (dress vs oxford vs etc?)
Soloman 5k (1 year ago)

Sooraj S Nair (1 year ago)
hey man can you help me get a good outfit for a farewell that's not too dressed up but still can be accepted as formal
Arman Talwar (1 year ago)
I wear oxford shirts with shorts, jeans, and for most smart casual outfits. (I prefer not having pockets on my shirts anyway) Powder Blue, powder pink, and classic white oxfords in my opinion go well with most suits. The ones I wear under a suit aren’t button downs so they give the appearance of being more formal while still being a thicker, sturdier fabric. They can be worn with a variety of colours in terms of bottoms, and go well with boat shoes/ loafers/ driving shoes when worn tucked out, casually and double monks, Chelsea boots and brogues when worn tucked in with jeans or less adventurous chino colours to give them more of a preppy/ smart casual look. In that scenario, they also become very easy to be paired with jackets/blazers/sports coats . That’s how I do it! Great video as always .. appreciate the content :)
Elisha Watkins (1 year ago)
That last outfit without a tie is a winner 👌
Tom Swiss (1 year ago)
Well, since I'm too young to wear jakets, I thought about another outfit, which layers a crew-neck jumper over an oxford, chinos and maybe some desert boots or Chelsea boots. I think it's a really "well-made" outfit for young guys like me, who don't want to try too hard, but still want to be stylish and particular. Thank you for this video anyway, I finally understood what an oxford is and the difference between it and a dress shirt. Really interesting, thanks again! :)
Real Men Real Style (1 year ago)
You bet - Chukka boots work well with it!
henry nicholls (1 year ago)

Just this last sunday i bought a simular green sweatshirt. I love it and cant wait to wear it this weekend.
Peter DeRuvo (1 year ago)
Hi Antonio , great video as usual! I noticed those Chelsea's were a very dark brown. Should you wear an equally dark brown belt to match it? I've been buying better footwear lately and it seems like I need to buy a new belt for every new pair of shoes I buy to match them perfectly.
