Considering how rich these people would have been to buy a home like this. I'm sorry, but rich people don't need pity or tears or prayers. They need more cash which they are going to get from insurance, likely.

dutrekker1617 also many of these people could not afford insurance due to increased premiums over the last ten years, when these properties were purchased or even going back decades when these were first family homes the sea was a significant distance from these properties with no predictions of this level of coastal erosion which is caused by the activity of all of us.

Those people should be heavily fined for polluting the ocean. They should have never thrown their house in the ocean like that.

no one likes to hear this ... people are not meant to live on the waters edge ... this happens sooner than later ...

Federals will pay them off. Then the jerks will rebuild a few feet back. And history will repeat again, End Federal Ins. subsidies to beach front home owners.

+Throatwobbler Mangrove Tell me what this means: Matthew 12:48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? Matthew 12:49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! Matthew 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
+DoubleAAmazin3 Right. I get it. You will demonstrate Christian love towards only those who share and practise your faith, and everyone else is no better than the dirt on the bottom of your shoe. I don't believe that's what Jesus taught during his earthly ministry. You're a classic example of a Pharisee.

+Throatwobbler Mangrove Not everyone is my neighbour....only those who do the will of the Father are my brother and neighbour.  Break this scripture down in the proper context: Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
+DoubleAAmazin3 Funny how so many who follow the Bible, or at least claim to do so, are nothing whatsoever like the Jesus who said "love thy neighbour as thyself". In fact, many of them are the complete opposite. They love to take Bible verses out of context, and feel superior to others for being so much holier than thou.
