Hi I am from India Planning to sell gym wear in uk How to deal with the returns due to size issues ,if any Please help
Oberlo (14 days ago)
Hi there! Thank you for your question. When products are shipped and they simply do not fit the customer properly, suppliers will not accept returns. You can use this size conversion chart on all of your product pages to mitigate this issue ahead of time (https://bit.ly/2KZYmdT). Otherwise, you could offer refunds to appease your customers, but they cannot exchange sizes. Hope this helps! -Jessica

What is prime age to target on Facebook for women buyer in clothing niche
Justice Jubilee (1 month ago)
+Oberlo got it thanks!
Oberlo (1 month ago)
Hey Justice thanks for the question. Since women of all ages wear clothes, you'll need to be a little more specific with the type of women's clothes you sell. For example, if you are selling punk-style clothing, you may want to target the 18-22 age group. -Jessica
Outstanding selection! I like your closing statement; "learn often, market better, and sell more." You should definitely copyright that phrase :)

The only problem is the time , delivery in 20 days so I just have only US warehouse product on my website
Oberlo (1 month ago)
Great point Ansar! While we've never had too much of an issue with shipping times, I can understand your concern and choice to go with US suppliers. If you're looking for more help, I would suggest checking out our video on dealing with long shipping times here (http://bit.ly/2GioyC2)! -Jessica

Don't you get alot of returns with clothing dropshipping?
Steph Ellis (1 month ago)
+Oberlo Thank you for your response 😊 I have starting a jewelry store with shopify and Oberlo and am at the stage of picking products through Oberlo.
Oberlo (1 month ago)
Great question Steph! Clothing can definitely be more of a challenge when it comes to returns. However, you can combat this by having size charts and very clear descriptions of the sizes. This way your customers will have all the information when it comes to ordering correctly! -Jessica

mhh, it is not all about the product, most buyers don't really know what they want, you need to show them

what is a utm tag?
Oberlo (1 month ago)
Hey there! A UTM code is a simple code that you can attach to a custom URL in order to track a source, medium, and campaign name. This enables Google Analytics to tell you where searchers came from as well as what campaign directed them to you. -Jessica

the clothing items you mentioned in larger sizes are they Asian sizes or the ones matching USA products?
Oberlo (1 month ago)
Hey Diana! They will be asian sizing, so I would suggest telling customers to order a size up. Or, change the size names to one smaller so customers automatically order one up! -Jessica

Does it really worth it selling cosmetics?
Oberlo (1 month ago)
If you are starting your own brand, you will need to figure out the production and shipping yourself. However, your private supplier might have some suggestions for you! -Jessica
William Durojaye (1 month ago)
+Oberlo Thanks, I really appreciate. If I decide to start my own brand of cosmetics, how do I ship to USA customers myself if I stay in Alberta, Canada
Oberlo (1 month ago)
Hey William! It's hard to say because there are numerous factors that contribute to this. If you happen to find a high converting Facebook audience quickly, it will be much lower. -Jessica
William Durojaye (1 month ago)
+Oberlo Thanks for your previous response. How much do you think I'll spend on Facebook ads to be able to get about 50,000 customers for a cosmetic store to buy a product?
Oberlo (1 month ago)
Absolutely William! The cosmetics market is worth billions and showing strong growth! -Jessica
Jose Amador (1 month ago)
Where are these items shipped from and what brands are these items? How fast do they ship?
Oberlo (1 month ago)
Of course Jose! You can find all the suppliers listed separately in the Oberlo marketplace! 🙂 -Jessica
Jose Amador (1 month ago)
Oberlo thank you Jessica!! Can I choose the suppliers?
Oberlo (1 month ago)
Hey Jose! These items are shipped from various suppliers around the world. Speed of delivery depends on where your supplier is located. If you source from Chinese suppliers, ePacket will take about 12-25 days. If you source from US suppliers, USPS will take about 5-12 days! -Jessica
Scott Bodiford (1 month ago)
Great video. I love the drop shipping concept overall, however, the long shipping times and relationship building can be an issue. I prefer to look for U.S. suppliers.
Oberlo (1 month ago)
Hey Scott! If you're looking for help dealing with shipping times, I would suggest checking out this video (http://bit.ly/2O6h6Lj). Also, make sure to check out the Oberlo Marketplace for our growing list of US suppliers! -Jessica

Colt Seavers (1 month ago)
But are those statistics for the USA or world wide ? And I realised years ago young women will buy anything if it's on sale. And I notice there's still unverified suppliers on Oberlo and is there any guarantee of a refund if I buy from them and don't receive my goods ? And the Winter Jacket you mention will only be used at Autumn/Fall and Winter and not worn for the rest of the year. I would sell Winter and Summer jackets. And also clothing accessories and jewellery, women LOVE jewellery.
Oberlo (1 month ago)
Hey Colt! This is worldwide data. Second, if you have any issues receiving a product from an Oberlo supplier, you can always contact our support team at [email protected] to replace it or receive a refund! -Jessica

+Oberlo Do you help with marketing at all? I know you talk about products, but I would like to know if Oberlo help at all with marketing
Oberlo (21 days ago)
I can understand your concern. However, the only other option is sharing a size chart and making sure they order a few sizes up. Although neither is ideal, this is a reality of the situation. Sorry about that! -Jessica
FBA AMIGOS. (24 days ago)
+Oberlo But on the cloth size will be shown XXL on the size tag, even if it fits for a customer in US as size M. Don't you think customers will feel wired about it?
Oberlo (25 days ago)
Hey there! Use this size conversion chart (https://bit.ly/2KZYmdT) on your product pages to help people get a sense of the difference in sizes! -Jessica

how much are influencers getting paid to advertise?
Oberlo (1 month ago)
Depends on how big the influencer is. There is no right or wrong price, it depends on what you two agree upon! -Jessica
Sina Yekta (1 month ago)
usually its harder to work with personal influencers because they really carre about their followers, i dont think you can do a post on their page without sending them the product first. contacting them via email usually works but, they do answer dms as well. I usually put a money emoji at the beginning of the message to get their attention when they are scrolling through their dms. Bellow 100k followers should be less than 300 usd
Scott Bodiford (1 month ago)
Good question. And are they open to a complete stranger reaching out to them about showcasing a product?

Can my smartphone be good for dropshipping? 😊☺
CAAARRRLL (1 month ago)
My problem is always the shipping. People don’t like waiting 3 weeks for an item from China. And US warehouses are sometimes a hit or miss and more expensive to produce.
Oberlo (1 month ago)
Of course not all customers will be willing to wait 3 weeks for shipping. However, many will! If you look hard enough you will find them! For extra help, check out our video on long shipping times (http://bit.ly/2O6h6Lj)! -Jessica

I got an email from oberlo notifying me about this video, they said 50k orders in the past 30 days, then you say in the past 6 months Which one is it?
Tome (1 month ago)
If you open oberlo and check for ponytail beanie you will find that there is one which was ordered 50k times in 30 days. Don't be lazy to make your research.
Saud Ilyas (1 month ago)
LOL Came by the same reason :D I think the total sales are 50k in the past 30 days of all the products she mentioned.
Hassan khan (1 month ago)
They want to increase the email open rate the subject line.
John C. Palmay (1 month ago)
Hmm 50K sales for the Beenie but no customer reviews?
Ross Marshall (1 month ago)
I doubt it's relevant now that was a winter item.
Tome (1 month ago)
Yes, that means it is dropshipped
Sina Yekta (1 month ago)
when it says no reviews it means that this most of the orders are from dropshippers
Lexi Shannon (1 month ago)
Yes, it says 50k sales through oberlo OR aliexpress....probably 49,999 were aliexpress LOL
faisal khan (1 month ago)
Is dropshipping too saturated now ? And should i start now ?
Oberlo (1 month ago)
Great question! It's 50k orders in the past 30 days for all the products in the video. However, one product received 50k orders in the last 6 months by itself! -Jessica
Oberlo (1 month ago)
Hi Faisal, thanks for the question Dropshipping is definitely not too saturated. It's an ecommerce model that just means you're not shipping your own products! There will always be new products and niches to sell in! -Jessica

For impulse buy I think it's going to be the ponytail beanie. For outerwear I think it's going to be the trench coat. And for spring/summer I think it's going to be the motorcycle leather jacket.

Great video Jessica ! Like the sound of the knitwear sweater, it's got that unique yet simple look. You said do seasonal ads – would you guys recommend FB or Insta? Keep up the good work ! (love the new subscribe animation btw :) )
Oberlo (1 month ago)
Hey there! For most products, both FB and Insta are great. There are edge cases where one is more effective than the other, but we suggest using them in parallel. And also using a variety of other tactics as well! Build out that sales funnel. 🙂 -Jessica

mrdeni kub (1 month ago)
in e-com men's related products get about 30% of total sales. and us men are pretty straight forward so its harder to convince a man to make a purchase if he doesn't need anything at the moment. when women are a lot easier to sell to. 75% of women are most likely gonna buy smth if its on sale rn and the deal seems to be pretty fair (by that I mean dont say that you are selling sports bra and it was $1000 but only today its 98% off so get yours for $20 and only 2 left in stock and blablabla - try to seem as a well established brand). But still, answering your request - men buy lots of accessories like bracelets/watches online (but competition is very high in that niche) and they also buy real problem solvers (I guess thats how you call it, if not, Im sorry, english isn't my native language) I mean stuff like creams that help grow beard for guy who dont have a beard, or some specific equipment for working out. Hope you've got my point.

Salim Issak (1 month ago)
Hello, making first sales, how can I pay my aliexpress supplier with no amount in my credit card. Some people say I should wait for some days to reflect?
Oberlo (1 month ago)
Hey Salim! It depends on your payment gateway. However, it is typically 2-5 days! -Jessica
Scott Bodiford (1 month ago)
+Salim Issak all banks are different. In my case it only took 2 business days with Bank of America.
Salim Issak (1 month ago)
Thanx Jessica
Salim Issak (1 month ago)
+Oberlo normally how long does it take to hit my bank?
Oberlo (1 month ago)
Hey Salim! Unfortunately, AliExpress want the money upfront. But, it's not the end of the world to wait until the proceeds from your sales hit your bank account. Sure, you'd like to be able to ship faster, but it won't spell disaster in your business if in the early days you need to have a little bit longer of lead time. These cashflow challenges are early day headaches that eventually work themselves out. Hope that helps! -Jessica
