you have hooded circular lids and you should put your dark shadow outside of the circle on the outer and inner corners in a straight line above the crease so that you don't emphasize the circular crease, then use less light colored highlighter under the brow in a thinner line. Then you don't look like you have monkey lids or older woman lids. Also you hair should be parted deeper cuz your face is very long and having that part makes it look even longer. Also you don't need to be a label whore to look expensive, it actually makes you look more cheap because you're a walking advertisement which looks shallow. And people are watching but not subscribing because they like the tips but don't like your voice it's very annoying sounding and nasally, you should get a mic filter to make your voice sound more smooth. Or maybe they don't really like your personality which seems shallow. You might not be shallow but that's how you come off to someone who isn't subscribing. like you're in a commercial.
I'm a user, randomly came across your channel. Honestly I came in thinking you would be way too high maintenance and annoying. Now I'm on my 5th video of yours. Didn't subscribe, and I won't simply because I do not at all care about luxury items or looking expensive, but I'll throw ya a like. You're funny and entertaining so I can watch you for a bit, but after today I probably won't watch you again. Nothing personal, just not something that will hold my interest for long enough because I do not care enough about the things you do.
Shea, first time visiting your page 😍Love the setting, perfect lighting, you cute as a button and most importantly great useful information but if I may... something in the acoustics of the room made the sound waves resonate through the room, it made hard to watch/listen a 12 min video. Would love to follow your page
i literally do all of these except pointy shoes and show off brand labels. unless its a heel on a boot or stiletto pointy shoes IMO make every ones feet look huge. and showing off name brand logos just looks gaudy and cheap. expensive name brands usually have small logos that not everyone's going to notice. good tips tho overall
You offer some very good advice Shea Whitney, but so many females, especially young ones, think that showing as much skin as possible is the way to get attention. Females need to realize that there are more sex offenders walking the streets than there are in prison in every nation on Earth. It may be a good idea to make a video explaining what not to wear and how not to act to supplement this video. Thank you Shea.
I really don't get the part "To Look Expensive" ....!? Maybe if ud said how to look pretty n neat or sexy or whatever.... What is it that u r trying to impose...? Well I tell ya then I hate wearing anything that has big logo exposing the brand I'm wearing n the last thing I'd want ppl to recognise is I have money n set a distance... I guess u need to calm down n go figure how to be an empath maybe ud be more useful....
My skin is dull with neutrals. i can wear only tree colours: yellow, scuba blue (light) and medium green ( cianer version). For some people is difficult even buy the shampoo and other thing like that and to have a good hairdryer makes difference and a correct shampoo too. To look more "expensive" we have to mantain ourself first with primary thing, but some of us dont have neather that :(
Thank you , for your tip . I’m so loving neutral colors more so and make up . I love whites , beige , mauve . I also love black . What do you think about simple black heeled suede or leather boots 👢? What would you recommend? Love your tips .
looking like a Christmas tree of bling doesnt make u look rich
wearing branded clothes neither
really rich people would smell you probably got them on credit cards
or you paid them with all your cash
this is the best way to go broke
The rich people that I know wear white tee and shorts
but they eat only organic food
and exudes class
no need to accessorise
The best way to be classy is refine and educate the mind, increase your vocabulary, read great literature and be compassionate to and help animals. All combined it's quite a dynamic presentation. People tend to surround themselves with "things" and many times it's simply because there's nothing else to that person. If you have intellect and personality life is much more satisfying and interesting. I have known many ppl who dress well and look well put together and there's no one home.
Everything you say is fine and true.
And some people love fashion and have a strong sense of fashion as
visual art. The lady's video is about that.
It's about LOOKING EXPENSIVE. It 's not saying looks matter and nothing else does. Give the girl a break, she's making a contribution here.
New sub to your channel! Love your content! Even tho all the videos I been watching are over a year old. 😊 I also feel keeping your nails polished or just in good healthy condition, press on or manicure done at salon or home. Simple but I find makes a woman look put together and luxurious
I am on disability, so I don't try to do expensive. I shop at Walmart, or Value Village. I look for things that fit properly, that will go with other things that I have, and have some color.
FYI: go to the men's section in Value Village. Men's shirts and blazers are made better than women's. You can get very nice button up shirts, polo shirts, sweaters. Of course, you will be paying a fraction of what the real value is. Also, check out the Value Village jewellery section. You never know what fun treasure you'll find.
Beauty comes from within but u also need to look good on the outside stop bashing the woman yes I know she's talking but talk can never be too mch as long as ur talking sence I don't like to insult people let's just be nice to another whenever we think about hurting one other let's first ask ourselves what would Jesus do just be great full she took her time out to do this type bless u all
speaking about shoes I wear tennis shoes Everywhere I Go I want to step up my game but I have bad feet I have to wear flat shoes that's why I wear tennis shoes can you do a video on some type of flat shoe that's like tennis shoe
I'm new to your videos and I want to step up my game plan for dating I love the tips that you're offering and the ones that are out there all learn way more what I should do with myself I appreciate the video
I am an actual millionaire, nearly a multimillionaire. You are so silly with your advice. I would never wear a t-shirt, not even at home. There are so many things that you missed on. Wrong on the pointy shoes and jewelry as well. Besides that, it was an entertaining video.
Some of these comments are as annoying as when a youtuber does an awesome makeup tutorial and then someone in the comment section says “you don’t need makeup—you’re beautiful the way you are!” Discussing fashion and physical attraction does not preclude you from valuing family, virtue and self-care.
We can agree to disagree on her presentation and content, but being rude with personal attacks and the like is the opposite of classy.
Just a thought: I think in some ways you are right, in some not. People think I am rich according to what I wear - but 95% of it is from secondhand. INCLUDING SHOES AND HANDBAGS. I just pick unique pieces and wear them with confidence. I personally find neutral clothing and neutral makeup boring. Especcially if someone is young - wear colours! You can also wear colourful makeup, but blended seamlessly and delicately, without all that heavy base, contouring, false lashes. Just check Lisa Eldridge for example - her makeup and clothing - how youthful, elegant, and chic she looks.
Just ran across your video. I am sure your experiment is over however, I subscribed because this is an area I am starting to get into. I feel like I am looking older than I feel inside and have decided to start taking more of an interest in my appearance and the things that make me feel better without stressing out or robbing the bank. I like your sensibilities.
Entry level designer pieces paired with a bunch of cheap stuff from H&M just make you look like you're trying to look expensive. The bright side is that most people won't notice anyway. However, the snobby elitists will notice, and I assume those are the people you are trying to impress when trying to "look expensive." Unfortunately, it won't work on them.
I love this edgy look! I was so excited that her hair, even as short as it is now, was still able to be put into the fun and trendy dutch pigtail braids! Instead of braiding to the ends, I ended them in close together pigtails at the nape of her neck. After I finished braiding, I tugged on the outsides of the braid gently to loosen them and make them a little messy and fun! Since she doesn’t have enough hair to tie around the elastics, I made sure to use elastics that matched her hair so they blend in as much as possible. You could also cover them with clips or bows! A view from the back of her Dutch pigtail braids! A great braid for short hair is a micro accent braid! My biggest tip for braiding short hair would be to add in small slices of hair rather than big ones. I did a small (micro) braid along a slightly curved deep part for anther cute and edgy look! You could also do another one next to it if you wanted a little more to the look, but I really liked how simple this one was. You can see how the part curves a little better from this view of the back. I ended the braid close to the head with an elastic that matched her hair. For our fourth style, we did a 3/4 french braid! Super simple but also super cute! You could do any type braid! It would also look cute using a Dutch braid or a fishtail braid! I loved the side view of this braid! I will for sure be doing this one next time she goes to gymnastics or swimming, whichever comes first! Our last braid is two four dutch lace braids into two loops in the back. Start off by parting the hair down the middle. On each side of the part, do a dutch lace braid, adding hair in from only the section closest to the part as you braid. Tie the braids together in the back with a small elastic and before you pull the hair all the way through to make a ponytail, leave it in a cute little loop! If the hair is a little bit longer, you could do a tiny bun. Repeat this directly under the braid you just did so you have two rows and two loops.
We will have to be coming up with lots more short hair braids in the future, so be sure to give us a follow over at our newly redesigned blog Abella’s Braids to see more as we do them!
Thanks for reading! See you again this time next month!
love these ideas! My daughter recently cut about 8 inches off her hair and is loving her shorter hair, but I’ve mostly been at a loss of what to do with it! Thanks!
Abella has been begging me for at least a year, probably closer to two years, to cut her hair. I posted a photo on Instagram with a question in the caption. “Abella has been begging me to cut her hair short, do you think I should let her do it?” Almost everyone said “YES!” So thanks to all of the good advice from my followers, we did it…and we haven’t regretted it for a second! I think she looks so cute and it really fits her personality! It’s for sure a lot harder to come up with braids but it’s pushed me to step out of my comfort zone! We wanted to show you that even if you have short hair, there are lots of cute braids you can still do!
This first braid (above) is three ladder braids. Start out with a part deep to one side. On the side with less hair, start out by doing a waterfall braid along the part. Under that one, do another waterfall braid, but incorporate the waterfall pieces from the one above it as you braid. Under that one, do a french braid. Incorporate the waterfall pieces from the second braid as you go. We braided each one to the ends and used elastics that matched her hair to tie them off.
