Nice build its amazing to me you can find those fenders for 15 bucks these days. I liked your hinge set up On the fender 30 years ago i bought some used. Piece of junk trailer to move. My motorcycle one time i lived in Florida and the State made me. Put fenders on it to comply with requirements i told the. Inspector my intentions for the trailer and i didnt want to spend much money he asked me if i knew how to cut 2x4’s and i said yes he said make them out of that and just screw them on he didnt care if they were. Pretty or not just that they covered the tires they weren’t pretty at all but i got my tags. And gave it to someone after i got my motorcycle where i wanted it for the return trip. I built. A contraption that fit in my receiver and took the front tire off the bike and used the axle to attach it to my contraption in essence the bike towed like a. Single axle trailer and i even wired the brake lights and turn signals to work with the tow vehicle harness it worked like a Charm for 1200 miles at around 60MPH it had a little wobble that i was able to take out by strapping the handle bars to the outside edges of the tow vehicle that was a CJ 7 Jeep with homemade bumpers i built for 4 wheeling that had plenty of anchoring locations I hope you have more videos similar. To the low cost trailer i just found your channel today and enjoyed your video. A lot i am a retired Woodworker thats interested in doing more welding and metal fabrication in the future my Dad taught me some basics on structual welding i can make it stay together usually but i need to learn how to make it prettier i did actually work at a Woodworking /Metal working shop That did lots of Aluminium Architectual welding and some of those guys were artists i of course was not a welder there or any other place although my Grand father was and he started most of his career doing body and fender repair years before fiberglass or plastic body filler ! My Dad had a Antique car my Gramps leaded all the dings out for a black lacquer respray of the main body i say that because it was a running board style car it turned out pretty cool
I think he mentioned that the side rails were galvanized , if they were , it should have been explained that welding galvanized metal is dangerous. I don't mess with galvanized metal, those fumes can really hurt you.
I built my own trailer for hauling off road machines. One of my biggest complaints was whenever it got windy depending on the aerodynamic nature of the cargo, the trailer could get into a rhythm and want to fishtail. Now enclosing the whole trailer wouldn't help because the turbulence caused by my truck. So I thought, "well maybe I could add suspension to it, let's see where that goes". So I had to change a few things which added a little height, which was not ideal but I added air shocks that I could add air too depending on the load. No more fishtail...
We are considering building a custom bed for out mowing truck so we can ditch the utility trailer. It would hold one commercial 48 inch walk behind or stand on mower along with other tools of the trade.
That's what I'd like to see.
Dump her if she makes you sell your truck. I've been married 18 years and had my '57 F100 before I met my girl. I told her to never make me choose between my truck or her. I will end up with my truck every time... EVERY TIME!!!
Smart man! I see you use the air supply respirator. There are so many videos with guys welding with no respirator and it short sleeve shirts. I think that's so irresponsible . We adults have to take in consideration that there are kids looking at these videos and we have to stress that if you're going to weld, you must use all proper safety equipment. That's the number one thing I learned in Weld School many moons ago.
DEBOSS GARAGE that’s hard to believe, since I use treated wood and as I already said, I only haul ATVs and sometimes yard brush. I don’t know anyone with a trailer that has used the same boards for 12 years either. BUT. Ok then.
i have a 170 flux core welder from harbor freight and i think i m going to do a 5X10 trailer...do you think the welder is up to the task because im a very inexperienced welder ...im more of an electro mechanical automotive nut
I did the same thing with a camper trailer,,, I wish I had watched this first , some of you designs are cool and I wish I had done it that way,, oh well, metal .. I can change it .. thanks for the video..
Nice build out I do a fair amount of camping in private campgrounds in the US and ive noticed a lot of old pop ups in their long term storage that look like they are abandoned by the owners usually the tags are expired and they are pushed into the back of the lots i like vintage campers so i almost always look in the storage lots generally in the back of a campground property i specifically look for older Airstreams
I would not recommend grinding shit down with a cutting disk, It is not meant to be grinded with, It is meant to be cut with, It is way too thin for pressure to be put on the sides if you try to grind with it or you don't cut straight and you put tension on the sides of that disk and it cracks, it will break apart and go flying at your face.
I often thought about building a own trailer like your's because it perfectly fits your needs.
But i Live in Germany an every vehicle has to go to a check called "TÜV" every two years, and especially own build things hardly pass it the first time.
Your trailer would be rejected the first time they see it :D
Also the problem is own build trailers are more heavy. In Germany you are only allowed to pull 750kg otherwise the trailer needs own breakes, handbreak, breakaway cable, not too old wheels, wheel chock and a few things more.
Also you will not get a 100km/h approval, becaus you must have independent axle with seperate damper [not flat springs] and ideally a anti-snacking coupling caus when you have a 100km/h approval you usually drive 120km/h [otherwise the other cars, which usualle drive between 160 and 250km/h on the middleline will urge you while you're overtakeing a truck ;) ]

I love this edgy look! I was so excited that her hair, even as short as it is now, was still able to be put into the fun and trendy dutch pigtail braids! Instead of braiding to the ends, I ended them in close together pigtails at the nape of her neck. After I finished braiding, I tugged on the outsides of the braid gently to loosen them and make them a little messy and fun! Since she doesn’t have enough hair to tie around the elastics, I made sure to use elastics that matched her hair so they blend in as much as possible. You could also cover them with clips or bows! A view from the back of her Dutch pigtail braids! A great braid for short hair is a micro accent braid! My biggest tip for braiding short hair would be to add in small slices of hair rather than big ones. I did a small (micro) braid along a slightly curved deep part for anther cute and edgy look! You could also do another one next to it if you wanted a little more to the look, but I really liked how simple this one was. You can see how the part curves a little better from this view of the back. I ended the braid close to the head with an elastic that matched her hair. For our fourth style, we did a 3/4 french braid! Super simple but also super cute! You could do any type braid! It would also look cute using a Dutch braid or a fishtail braid! I loved the side view of this braid! I will for sure be doing this one next time she goes to gymnastics or swimming, whichever comes first! Our last braid is two four dutch lace braids into two loops in the back. Start off by parting the hair down the middle. On each side of the part, do a dutch lace braid, adding hair in from only the section closest to the part as you braid. Tie the braids together in the back with a small elastic and before you pull the hair all the way through to make a ponytail, leave it in a cute little loop! If the hair is a little bit longer, you could do a tiny bun. Repeat this directly under the braid you just did so you have two rows and two loops.

Abella has been begging me for at least a year, probably closer to two years, to cut her hair. I posted a photo on Instagram with a question in the caption. “Abella has been begging me to cut her hair short, do you think I should let her do it?” Almost everyone said “YES!” So thanks to all of the good advice from my followers, we did it…and we haven’t regretted it for a second! I think she looks so cute and it really fits her personality! It’s for sure a lot harder to come up with braids but it’s pushed me to step out of my comfort zone! We wanted to show you that even if you have short hair, there are lots of cute braids you can still do!
This first braid (above) is three ladder braids. Start out with a part deep to one side. On the side with less hair, start out by doing a waterfall braid along the part. Under that one, do another waterfall braid, but incorporate the waterfall pieces from the one above it as you braid. Under that one, do a french braid. Incorporate the waterfall pieces from the second braid as you go. We braided each one to the ends and used elastics that matched her hair to tie them off.
